Female here 🤚 who doesnt know much about fixing cars. I found this video extremely helpful. The car noises added in the video were especially helpful. Thank you so much 🙏
I don't know why it's so hard for so many RUclipsrs to give examples and noises that correlate with them..thank you🙏 for making this extreemly informative video!
Showing actual parts in action (like the starter) is unbelievably helpful. Excellent clean and clear videos. Excellent explanations. Hope you keep it up.
I dont remember the last time I felt inclined to comment on a RUclips video, but this time I do. This video was informative with quality. Thanks for taking the time to educate.
I just had my car make no noise but, had lights it turned out it was the clutch bushings behind the clutch not engaging preventing it from being start. It broke and it had to be replaced. Thanks for video!
Finally!!!! This is the video that explains everything! My buddy's '62 Corvette wouldn't start and using your video, we figured out it was the starter. The way you diagnose the problems based on listening to what's going on is fantastic. This is my "go to" video now. Keep up the great work!
Pretty good video I think this is the first one that actually shows you the noises and tells you the causes I liked it I'm surprised you don't have more likes in views and comments
Perfect explanation!! I had the problem and guess what, I fixed it all myself. By the way am a female with no mechanical experience but with your clear explanation,I fixed my car my self.👍👍👍👍🥰💪
Man you explained it better than anyone I’ve seen and no crappy music either it helped me a lot I can’t begin thank you enough bro 😎 keep up the great work 🤔💯⚠️
Many trivial thing on start of thr video, but later some more details. Very good content, self diagnose. I just want to say you do marvelous job for DIY guys and younglings. And even old guys like me, its nice to back up my diagnose with your vudeo. Stay great bro!

Whooo! This is the best education I have ever had with this specific problem. Man you kill it totally. Very very informative thank you for all you do. Appreciate your had work
I just broke down this afternoon and was fearing the worst with the horrible grinding noise, but you just explained to me exactly what was happening with my car. Thank you so much for your knowledge and for sharing. I think I am confident in saying I have a starter motor problem for sure. You have a new fan and subscriber🤝. Keep doing what you're doing👍👍👍👍
This was a great video and the best thing compared to so many others Is “he’s very detailed and specific about at the car noises. And even demonstrates the noises. Good informed information. Thanks bud. Currently my damn car won’t start and I’m first gonna start with trying to jump it. My car is having g no sound at all. But lights up but with it not even making a clicking noise I think it’s the battery to begin with or the cables and terminals.
Very well put together. I’m struggling with starting my 85 Cadillac DeVille. Still having issues but I’ve got a few things here I can try. Well done on the great, clear and informative video!
Yeah, I can figure that much..just wondering where to start based on your very well put order, I’ll watch again and pick one, although the whirl happened while driving the current problem is the turn-over skirt skirt problem, lol. Thanks!
Thanks this was such a thorough video. I'm in Australia and I wonder if there is any business that only replaces components in items such as start motors here. I haven't heard of any.
8:33 When jump-starting a car, always connect the negative (black) cable to an unpainted metal part of the dead car's chassis, not the negative terminal of the dead battery. This avoids sparks near the battery, reduces the risk of explosion, and helps protect both cars' electrical systems.
Just found this video. Very Professionally done. I have the symptoms where I hear a Click when I try to start the truck (Toyota Tundra 2007). The Starter Relay is good. The battery is good. My thinking is the Click being the starter solinoid takes some amount of current to activate it, and when it provides power to the Starter motor, the Starter Motor should draw quite a few amps if it is a good motor. In this case, I see no increase in current to the starter. Either that means the windings are open, or there is another circuity that provides power to the starter motor. One test I did was turn on the lights then try to start the truck. Lights did not dim at all, even with the click I heard. My guess is the starter motor. That about right?
should i check that if my car starts with a jump? i’m so confused because my battery is 1.5 years old, car doesn’t start without a jump, engine tries to turn over then it clicks and gives up, i had a loose terminal for a while but rn i’m torn between pumping gas in my running car or just turning it off and going to sleep in this lot
I have 1989 GMC Sierra 5.7L and it’s making the noise @3:53 I had just bought a new starter not too long ago. It now doesn’t even start it only makes that noise. 3:53 Idk if I need to order a flywheel and replace the starter again or what. The alternator doesn’t even spins but you can hear the starter.
Hey brother, I have a 2009 Accord v4 exl. Last week it won’t start. All dash lights turn on but there no click or crank sound. I am trying to figure out whether it’s the starter relay or my starter is gone. Battery is brand new. Please advise. Thank you
Dont forget also, another sign that the starter is bad or going bad is when you start the engine and the engine is running but it's making a grinding noise but the noise goes away after starting the engine a couple of times. Then the grinding noise comes back on again but no check engine light, then that's the starter going bad. It's still works but the brushes is worn out, the stater doesn't disengage from the fly wheel and it grinds against the fly wheel. That's when you buy a new starter.
I bought a new starter after the other one had a burning smell and dripping fluid on the side but 2 weeks after putting a new one it has stopped working too , so what may be the cause ?
Hi, originally had crank no start, I replaced battery and starter, it was still the same problem, then fizzed under the dash, checked ignition fuses and relays, relays click, now no crank and start I get click at key and dash lights + radio but nothing else, have you got video on this or advise, also how to get the ignition switch security bolts undone would be helpful
Great video ! But it didn’t cover the buzzing sound I’m getting when I attempt to turn the key on my 2012 Ford E350 Super Duty . The loud buzzing sound and it not turning over . Recently replaced (can’t recall what it was called , but it’s in the steering column and has a few wires to it with a moving part that engages/disengages something 🤓) I’ll find what it’s called and re post .
3:10 ii think ii was experiencing the “multiple clicks or chattering sound” before my starter stopped working, so ii took my battery to go charge, I’ll update you when the battery comes back
9:02 I had the no sound problem, thought it was the battery and bought a new one, Turned out it was just the plug at the end of the wire coming from the battery to the starter that was loose... I spent so much but the problem was so small 😂😅
I had an experience with my car where I had to diagnose a no crank no start. I knew nothing about cars, I also didn’t have the money to take it to a shop. So I did a lot of research. Did everything revolving around the starting system. But eventually I found it. Good news, it could be fixed. Bad news it was going to cost around 1300 dollars. (The PCM had failed.) tbh I don’t know why I’m sharing this…

Same same !!!!
I don't know why it's so hard for so many RUclipsrs to give examples and noises that correlate with them..thank you🙏 for making this extreemly informative video!
Preach 🙏 bc I been trying to listen instead of fix lol or buy new parts
What a fantastic video. No annoyingly loud music, no swearing, no umming and ahhring. Educational, informative straight to the point!
😂😂
And no change of voice volume from one scene to the next! No background noise, wind, mic friction, not even any change in voice pitch
I really appreciate you. You totally should have a car shop went through every sound and found my problem
Showing actual parts in action (like the starter) is unbelievably helpful. Excellent clean and clear videos. Excellent explanations. Hope you keep it up.

What was it
What was the problem as i am experiencing the same thing? Was it the starter
