In my opinion: Unfortunately that's an populist fallacy. If you think how many bottles of water get sold & how much pollution they make when not recycled in contrast to cigarettes you can see how price contributes to a major reduction in environmental waste.
If there weren't any rich people circulating their hords of $, there simply won't be any money for anything. There's a difference between hording greed & circulating responsible values for obtainable capital.
Without attainable capital, equity means nothing & interest rates go way up.
Oh, it's all greed isn't it with the liberal socialist?
Money can't come cheap or free because it will be wasted. Education has been a huge waste for a lot of people when there is no attainable capital to be had because they obviously spent money they hadn't known the value of just to buy themselves a good job on a loan.

@@Granted_Health_and_WellnessIn my opinion: It's not a matter of drinking the liberal Koolaid, it's that they buy bottled water & supposedly can't afford it. It can fairly be said not everyone can handle the responsibility of containing a natural resource without destroying it over a unappreciated access to it due to a irresponsible price point. Unless there's a hurricane coming or you have a travel trip planned, there is no sensible reason to allow cheap bottles of water to be conveniently placed within the grasp of the urban inhabitant.
You speak of "opinions" even though two examples of why liberals don't understand what being rich is all about. If they truly were evil & all greedy, just like aforementioned equity, money would disappear entirely. Then you ask how would someone support themselves or their families. That's not a problem the greedy should care about, but the rich people solve all the time.
The academic argument is even with the best education, there will always be poor people being mainly flawed within their situational lives. They want unattainable liberty without the virtue of conventional wisdom.
If reality seems opinionated, I like to hear your take on what makes one impoverished.
It's fair to say people are incredibly lucky today considering the responsible have to keep the irresponsible in prospective order.
They waste then ask for more. The rich give more, the poor spend all they have on convince. Maybe they're poor because of convenient spending access.
Come on, I'd like to hear an "opinionated" example besides character attacks of emotional latent dichotomy.

@@Stomp409 yeah, that’s the thing I mean if I oversimplified, it’s the Republican to make all the money and the far left Democrats to come up with ways to take it and spend it. I mean we have to have living wages. Every wage should be a living wage what is so hard about that. But Republicans want to have starter, wages, teenage wages, part-time wages, and all of that crap. And corporations like Walmart find ways to make sure their workers are just part time worker so they’re not do any medical our health insurance, and they’re told where, and how to apply for government aid.
Wages pretty much stagnated for the past 40 years pretty much since the Reagan revolution tax cuts have gone to corporations corporations to become people and this is actually one of the reasons why Mr. Trump is popular because people are hurting and he feels their pain like good old Bubba Clinton. Of course Trump has no solutions… But he makes them feel good like Reagan did but it in A very pale imitation. Anyway, voodoo economics didn’t work. Giving corporations and rich people, tax cards does doesn’t work. But just having a wealth tax so that if you have stuff and you have assets, we’re going to confiscate those assets and somehow re-distribute them magically sprinkling the love all over. Everyone is also not going to be very workable.
Do you know we are what we are we’re not some Scandinavian country what’s 40% tax rate in a big social safety net. That’s not part of our history and that’s not part of our character… It’s amazing that FDR did what he was able to do and crazy old LBJ was able to do what he did. I mean most people have no money and no savings it was the unions that made the middle class and now I think 3% of the people are in Union Station… They’ve got no pensions. Everyone is hoping for their Social Security which the Republicans want to privatize.
There’s plenty of money in this country… And plenty of sickness and hunger and homelessness. It’s very interesting that any plan to make America great again. Doesn’t seem to address these things. Just about being powerful in the world and having cheaper gas.

Doesn't matter what the tax rate is. Government collects about 15-17% of GDP each year in taxes. Tax the rich is a lie the communists ("progressives") use to con working people into thinking they're fighting for them. Here's the con:
      1. Dems pass huge spending bills "for the people."
      2. Then they dole out the government spending to their rich friends.
      3. Then their RINO corporate pals (as controlled opposition) use inflation as an excuse to raise prices.
      4. Oops corporations make huge profits. How did that happen!
      5. Dems cry foul...since, ya know...they're "for the people" and say "Capitalism bad...mmmkay. Join our unions!"
      6. Dems collect union dues. Corps collect profits. Both go back to their communist pals in D.C. including the RINO's who "oppose" Dems.
      Cycle repeats.
Election are r9gged so they continue to be re-elected. Watch "Uncounted: the New Math in American Elections" (2008) on RUclips and "Let My People Go" (2023) on another platform which pays tribute to the J6ers and shows the r8gging system (starting about 37 min mark).

It started with the communist Democrats and their unions who controlled the party with donations. Commies took over union leadership in the mid-90's starting with the AFL-CIO and John Sweeney. Then moved from union to union.
Watch "Agenda: Grinding America Down" (traces Marxism from 1920's Frankfurt School to today's Democrats) and "Agenda 2: Masters of Deceit by Curtis Bowers" (infiltration of institutions...unions, churches, schools, etc.).
Glenn Beck also does a great special..."The Great Reset: Joe Biden and the Rise of 21st Century Fascism" (think you have to go to his website to find it or that other platform).
Corporate lobbying in the '80's and China started buying politicians with "elite capture." Communist globalists started with military-industrial complex building the unelected administrative state (not to mention Fauci with government-funded academic research and Big Pharma.
UN is heavily involved along with WHO, WEF, IMF, IPCC, etc. All pushing their UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development puppies and rainbows 17 goal con games to distract and divide while centralizing power behind the scenes. Now they're trying to cement their "public-private" partnerships which are really public-public partnerships.

He wants a strong America. That's why they hate him (plus he interrupted their coup in 2016). ................... They want to tear us down and erase all borders everywhere so they can have their unelected one world government. ................ Watch "Let My People Go" (Nov, 2023, David Clements, free) which will show you the problems with our elections. Share it with others. Organize and confront local officials to ditch machines blinding central control, return counting from centers to precinct level and make sure all ballots are cast by legal citizens. ................. Bernie is right, of course, but his pleas fall on deaf ears. The idea that we have a functional democracy is laughable. Congress is a millionaire's club, beholden to corporate power.
Ordinary people survive on their wits, and on the scraps that fall from the tables of the
ruling class. The vote itself, is a sham. Vote for whom? Politicians on both sides of the

What the US needs is to have a grown-up discussion about how the opportunities, risks, and benefits of our economy are shared and that policies the majority wants. All human economic activity is shared effort i.e. cooperation and the State is involved in every transaction (even before taxes) by enforcing or not enforcing contracts. The State decides what you own and don't own-- if you take a car parked on street it is a question of law and State enforcement of the law that decides if the car is yours. If you get 100 dollars of income the 100 is not yours unless the State says so-- if you owe taxes on the income, then not all 100 are yours. If the income is for a hit job, zero dollars of the income are yours. Just hating the State means there is no discussion about what rules make sense. Just complaining about every tax means there is no discussion about what the State should tax and how heavily. Nobody likes to pay taxes; but we need to grow up have the hard discussion.
