  • Step 1 to do kitchener bind off on loom- Transfer half your stitches on your loom to the other half of the loom to prepare for the kitchener bind off while on the loom.     It will be easier if you use a circular needle to remove the stitches from the loom a larger size circular needle.

    Question: I've never done this stitch but I am a fumble fingers. Is there a reason for not using a stitch holder?

    Do you do the toe shaping exactly like the heel? Also, my kitchner came out very loopy on one side (I'm using 1/2 gauge cindwood with worsted weight #4 yarn) not sure where I went wrong?

      Yes I do the shaping the same for both. Make sure that after you transfer your stitches to the other half of the loom that you go back with your loom tool and tighten them. Also don't loosen or tug on the stitches on the pegs when you are working the yarn on the needle knitwise/purlwise as you cast off. Let me know if you have other questions and thanks for viewing! :)
