Thank you so much for making and sharing this with us! Mrs. Myers was my librarian in elementary school and I absolutely loved her. The woman is magic!!!

This is the best! I do a grafting thing vaguely similar to kitchener, where it sort of joins up the edge stitches from each side like a zipper, but it's not as good as kitchener. If only I could do this on my Addi Pro machine, I'd be so happy!

Many thanks to you, Scarlett, and all your fellow vlogers who have made it possible for me to learn how to create such wonderful items! I've currently got two sock looms going with two different pairs of socks! *LOL* I do have a question, though. One pair is a tube sock. I tried a hat drawstring closure for the toe and it bunches up so badly there's no way I could wear it even in my home. Is there a different closure I can do without frogging my entire sock? Thanks! :~D

Nancy Thane You can try and send a needle through the loops after you cut the draw string. Then lay the stitches flat and sew up. I think I do this closure on my adult bootie video. I draw string cast on but don't tighten it like a draw string just to a point of even stitches and sew up. It has worked nicely but from now on it is this or the kitchner cast off on the looms.

this is a great tutorial. Thanks to you and Brenda. I use the Kitchener stitch on loomed socks and a sock loom. Do you know if this technique could be used on that loom? Would you still wrap all the pegs even though the toes are only done on half the pegs. If you do this cast on, would you immediately start working the toe? That part has me confused. Thanks again

Debbie Gilliam I will be posting the kitchener cast on with a sock/ bootie pattern here soon on the CinDwood Loom youtube site. Will post the link here soon so ya'll can see how I do it. I start the sock toe immediately after I knit a row.

+Scarlett Royal thank you so much. I thought you would probably go right to the toe stitches after the cast on was done. I look forward to the next video.

I don't have a CinDWood sock loom can this be done on on a KB sock loom?

+Brenda Jackson Yes just keep in mind where your half mark is when weaving. I have done this on the KB sock loom recently on my no show sock tutorial.
