  • These are the Breeders. They are between 4"-5' in body lenght. The ruler in the tub is a 6" ruler. As you can see, some already have orange eggs under their belly.
I'm in the process of moving so these guys will be up for sell on Ebay soon. Please check Ebay seller KTAQUATICS. I do not sell them here. Thanks (uploaded 3/3/2016)

How much salt do you put in the water for the fry when they are "hatched"? Do you put the mom in the salt water before she releases the eggs and then leave her in there for a couple of days? I can't seem to find this information and I'd really like to know how to take care of that part before I buy some. Also, what kind of food do you feed them? I'll look for you on ebay, I'm very, very interested in raising prawn. Thanks www.JesusReallyDoesLoveYou.com

JesusReallyDoesLoveYou dot com i bought some prawns they are freshwater but not exactly like these guys, well they kinda are but have not so long claws like these ones in the video do, there are so many ridiculous species in the genome that science hasnt even given them each a special "name" other then the scientific name, that being said i got mine from my local fish store and the guy that donated them said he literally got glass shrimp from walmart and then they turned into these ridiculous prawns lol. also they dont need salt the fry are decently big u can easily spot them compared to micro glass shrimp fry. they will hatch and live healthy without salt.

Bill Hudson the most vulnerable stage is when they are molting and 15-20 minutes after molting. At this time their shells are soft and they can't move. Substrates are important since it give them a place to get away during this process. It also give them time to get back on their feet.
I will have more 2 inch Prawns in about 3-4 weeks. Thanks
