It is very easy to cook sinigang just boil pork or beef till tender then add tomatoe and onion chop after few min. Add sinigang mix you can buy this in store or market and also vegies kangkong sili panigang taro root, radish, ocra and egg plant after sinigang mix add a little fish sauce and add all the vegies but you have put the taro to make it soft add salt to taste and you are done
You can buy sinigang mix in our grocery stores, sinigang have a lot of versions . Sinigang can be pork, beef, chicken, fish or shrimp, just onions, tomatoes and sinigang mix,you can add eggplant, radish, water spinach okra halapeno pepper, 1liter of water and salt to taste and a pinch of seasoning.
Saw you both a while ago in Shangrila Mall. You guys look cute together. Also look better and younger in person :) I should have said hi. But Locavore has some really fancy or avant-garde takes on some Filipino food like that sizzling sinigang and the deconstructed Kare-kare (another dish with thick peanut soup/sauce). Not your every day kinda Filipino food. But I like to eat there too sometimes.
I stayed in that same building in 2019, but never made it to that restaurant, maybe next time. Have you mentioned which condo you picked after all the viewing videos? Curious as to which one you decided on.
Hi..lovely couple..trying differents kinds of pilipino foods tastes, yummy foods, eating rice everyday is a gives you vitamins a...?goodluck guys..👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️❤️❤️❤️..
if you want to try cook sinigang just boil the beef after that you can mix the engridients like tomatoes, onions or what kinds of vegetable do you want to mix it in the tamarind or alittle bit suka.means vinegar.very simple but i suggest to you just search in your google or youtube how to cook sinigang perfectly..the way how to prefering..✌️✌️✌️..
sisig doesnt necessarily mean it's sizzling/served on a hot plate. sisig originally meant "to make something sour", the og version was just soaking things in vinegar. the more contemporary version is is boiling, grilling, and frying pork but it doesn't necessarily have to be, it just needs to match the look of sisig lol (aka. hella chopped)
Sinigang is a style of cooking. There is no traditional sinigang. It is a style of cooking with souring agents like sampaloc and bayabas. There is sinigang beef, pork, chicken (sinampalukan) shrimp, fish. In Visayas they call it kadios with black beans added
Bagoong, say bah-go-ong, it's fermented shrimp paste, similar to sambal olek but the Filipino type can be just very salty or can be spicy but the emphasis is on the salty. Use sparingly like you use soy sauce.
go to The singing cooks and waiters in roxas blvd, pasay city for a different experience. good entertainment and very delicious food. try their kare kare and crispy pata yummm. or you can try dad's buffet in megamall they have good filipino food there (their kamayan restaurant) and japanese (saisaki) and western food.
You want to do sinigang the hard way? No one does it the hard way😀 or one of you do it the hard way and the other the easy way with sinigang mix and see the difference.
Manam still the best value for money and almost everything tastes delicious hehehe.. locavore kinda expensive.. Try going to seafood Dampa in Pasay city im waiting for it 🙂
Personally I think locavore is too modernized versions of pinoy food. I generally don't recommend it. Sinigang is definitely a soup dish and that thick locavore version is something I really don't appreciate. For sinigang recipe try looking for panlasang pinoy on RUclips
Ginatang means it is prepared with coconut milk. It can be a dessert or an entree with meat and vegetables, or seafood too. You should ask a good translation from a waiter who speaks good English. Otherwise I see you making so many incorrect assumptions about the food because the Filipino word are unfamiliar to you. Your waiter didn't tell you that luglog and palabok are two variations of a type of noodle dish, difference being cornstarch noodle vs rice noodle. BTW you should use Google Translate or Apple translate.

Yes Alina, try cooking something that you crave. You may seek help cooking at youtube.
You are a happy compatible couple that's easy to get along with. You are meant for each other. Great couple.
If you love sinigang, you should try Kanin Club’s Sinangag na Sinigang dish! 😊
cute couple.. food looks amazing
When will be the apartment tour?
I stayed in that same building in 2019, but never made it to that restaurant, maybe next time. Have you mentioned which condo you picked after all the viewing videos? Curious as to which one you decided on.
Sinigang is voted best soup in the world. And now Philippines the best tourist destination in the world.
Hi..lovely couple..trying differents kinds of pilipino foods tastes, yummy foods, eating rice everyday is a gives you vitamins a...?goodluck guys..👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️❤️❤️❤️..
You should try Gerry's Grill and Max, Cafe laguna
Filipino ulam or food has strong flavour that's why it's eaten with rice. It's very unfilipino to eat meat or seafood as is, without rice,
Guys try the singing cooks and waiters restaurant good filipino menu and entertainment there
Yup, you're right when you guys decide to make sinigang don't use the powder stuff. Go get some fresh Sampaloc or kamyas to sour the soup.
You missed the fried oyster omelet in Binondo, check Strictly dumpling vlog in Binondo for the oyster pancake.
Will be back for it, thanks for the suggestion!
Enjoy the filipino food my friends
1 restaurant you must try is pilgrims in buda, really really good food, I recommend it 100%

You mentioned about water rice. Did you know, the old way of cooking Sinigang was using the water from the washed rice as broth for the Sinigang?
Wow!! 😮

Hey guys better get an English - Tagalog dictionary for your everyday use it could be handy since you will be staying in the Philippines for a year.
You seem surprised with the price of food in Locavore. Expect the food to be a bit pricey when you eat in nicer restaurants and not in fastfoods.
Personally I think locavore is too modernized versions of pinoy food. I generally don't recommend it.
Sinigang is definitely a soup dish and that thick locavore version is something I really don't appreciate.

"modernized" = -more- *ALOT* expensive
If u eat rice with soup menu don’t mix with noodles with soup unless u order the dry noodles with veggies… u should have order Sisig…
I love locavore ❤
I know right, sizzling sinigang was fire
𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 😍
Manam I think the owner is ms.margarita fores voted as the best chef in Asia..
Nope, Margarita Fores owns Cibo not Manam.
Ginatang means it is prepared with coconut milk.
