Welcome to a new episode in the Philippines. We are Justin & Alina, a RUclips couple currently living/ travelling in the Philippines for a year. 3 months ago, we made the decision to stay in the Philippines for a year as we fell in love with this beautiful country, from the beautiful landscape in over 7000+ islands, the great Filipino hospitality as well as its rich culture and let’s not forget about the food.
After rounds and rounds of apartment inspection and viewing, we finally found our ideal apartment in Bonifacio Global City BGC, Manila. After 3 months of staying here, we have finally settled in with all the furniture arrived. In this video, we showed around our apartment, from the kitchen to the living room, to the toilet, to our bedroom and everyone else that we bought, including our incredible plants from Plants and Display. They have a wide range of artificial decorative plants available for offices and homes that made our apartment come alive with the greens.

what Mergim was referring to was split type airconditioners and high capacity window type. you wont have bill problems with your ac specially if youre keeping it at low to mid cool, about 17 to 24 degrees and around 8 hours of operation (at night). electricy cost here in the philippines is more expensive during the day.

I remember my apartment in Singapore, there is a similar heater on the wall. You only have those with boiler separate at houses. Nice video and glad to see you both enjoying your stay in Philippines.

Have you guys tried Landers? It's also a membership grocery. There's one in Uptown area. If you are unsure to get a membership, maybe each of you can take turns going through the whole lot (make sure you go check the 2nd floor, not the first) to see if you'll like it. You can ask permission in the membership side or maybe even the supermarket security (inside grocery)

Yea, heaters are not usually available in bathrooms in the PH since it's already hot, we need cool water to cool us down hehe..

I would recommend you buy a water dispenser instead or in replacement of that blue water container. it could be an electric water dispenser where you can have cold and water from
Philippines is a tropical country. no snow and has a hot and humid weather half of the year so having a heater in the house is not common and not even a necessity. I guess, you don't need to use your AC from now on so that your body will ask for a cold shower 😁 just kidding guys 🙂

Nice apartment, better transfer the water container at the kitchen.. Or near dining area.it is much better if you have real plants it can survive because the sun can penetrate trough the windows

How about buying an electric fan, so you can still have some breeze without worrying turning on your aircon? Summer season in Philippines already started so you better buy one to make the heat more manageable in the next few weeks.

Hey guys, I think I heard that you plan to stay in the Philippines for a year? Just to make sure, you might want to check that with the immigration because I think the max for tourist to stay in the Philippines is 6 months. Just double check so, you can avoid trouble in the future 😊

Maximum is 3years without leaving the country, but they must file extension every now and then till 3 years and pay for corresponding fee.

Also dont let 6 months elapse befoew before you fix your visa our immigration are very corrupt

I would suggest for you to buy a standing electric fan. So you won’t need to use your aircon all the time when it’s hot.

Hi Justin and Alina, nice dwelling place for both of you. Great for Alina decorating the room and for those plants like the palm and the one beside it is that the palm grows so tall when it get old and the Monstera is that their leaves do grow so wide and large that the pot I guess can't hold them anymore if they grew higher. Better seek info about them in the web. And the water dispencer that you placed beside the TV is you may buy a pedestal for it and place it somewhere in the kitchen area. Is the tap water in your apartment is not drinkable? What I know is that it is safe to drink tap water in BGC. Anyway, nice good start for a couple and enjoy your stay. Thanks!

I hope you make a collaboration video with partner vloggers Vikacha and Eugene. Your looks are similar. By the way, Vikacha is a Lithuinian and Eugene is filipino. I think you both are with same age. Vikacha speaks Russion language, her first language and english.

I've been here 13 years on and off people that runner air conditioning day and night will have higher bills maayos electric bills and sevenn in the philippines was 8900 its because my gf cousin was leaving her aircon on when she went to work haha it was running day and night

In the province, we just drink tap water
