We’ve lived in BGC since 2006 and experienced the growth to what it is now. Just want to let you know that Forbestown is noisy every night and specially bad on weekends. Make sure you consider that. If you want to stay in the Forbestown area, pick one that is not facing the Forbestown Road.

Those are some pretty nice units you have viewed in this vlog. The only problem with the Verve and Maridien Tower is the irregular arrangement of the rooms which tends to make them smaller but I must say their location and amenities are very nice! But I must agree, the PPT condominium is very lovely, spacious, and would be perfect for your family. And yeah, the one you viewed on the last vlog had a much better view since you can see BGC especially with the upcoming Christmas season, for sure it's gonna be flocked with lots of people and lights which will be a very good view compared to the Manila Bay view. Can't wait until you choose your new home and hopefully a vlog where you are shopping for appliances/furniture. Always take care
Yes! All these condos in BGC are in a great location and have awesome amenities. PPT is beautiful but none come furnished. We’ll have to see. Haven’t found the right one yet. Ahhh I’m so excited about the Christmas season🎄❤️

Omg we have a winner when it comes to vloggers doing condo tour in bgc! I have watched so many condo and house tours from so many foreign vloggers. Its usually 2 bd 50 to 70sqm only. This is the first time ive seen 128sqm n up! Omg the 300sqm! Wonder how many elepahants i can fit in it😂. I think if u need an office room then it has to be 4bd unit. The maids room can be use as a storage room. Imma wait for the 200sqm+ unit cuz i think itll be perfect for ur family. Not too small not too big. Goldilocks n 3 bears be looking for condo 😄.

im just wondering if the 25th floor of Pacific Plaza Tower South A is just one apartment only. it's 303sqm which is the same size as our property in northern quezon city and we built our house with just half of the size. i believe we are all screaming like. you guys on how big...no....how ginormous the place is. 😯 though you guys found a bath tub!
Haha. Yes these condos in PPT are GINORMOUS! And yes they’re each considered just 1 condo. The biggest ones we found so far. Most of the 303sqm have 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a den, kitchen, huge helpers room and a grand living room with insane views!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw a condo in PPT.
Pacific Plaza is THE address in BGC. Try looking at Essensa too. That one is designed by IM Pei’s firm.
PPT has the best view in our opinion. We skipped Essensa (although an amazing choice because of size and price) but there’s way too much construction. The only condo available for us is on the 3rd floor surrounded by construction😩😩😩😩😩

2 br it depends what county do you live. We owned a condo in Rockwell and it’s already paid off too. We love Rockwell we bought it more than 20 years ago.That time that’s the high end condo. Now of course you have BGC.

husband speaking age 80 I have been following the Lockwoods for a couple of years now. My wife is Filipino, we have been
married 47 years. We have a home on Mactan Island, Cebu, in fact we will be leaving the Seattle area for there Nov. 13 for five
months. I told the Lockwoods, the higher you are the more money and you are not the only residents so it can take many minutes
to go down to the lobby. Good Luck on the search.

I visited a few condo units in the BGC this week. The quality is very questionable and the smell... a bit disappointing compared to my expectations. Canadian expat here.
Those units was nice!! If money is not an issue. Go for it Fam!! Kids will love it..
But if space is not an issue for you guys, just be practical.. 150k to 250k is a lot! With that money, you can spend more and travel the whole Philippines which has a lot to offer..
Try to consider some other places in Metro Manila that offers Condo if you want..

Bgc is their location of choice. If they want a house, I can recommend Ayala Alabang Village since their monthly budget for condo rent is already the same as the monthly house rent in Ayala Alabang Village.

@@MomDuty BGC is BGC.. when I was in Philippines, which we do live in Sampaloc Manila ( I can say the busiest in Manila because of the University All over the place.. Maybe in a month, I only go to BGC occasionally if there's something to do, or meet some friends...
We renting an apartment in Sampaloc Manila, for 14 thousand pesos per month since 2006 . 1 bathroom, but it has 3 bedrooms. And we love our place, because we are behind of a twin Church, and a 5 minutes walk to National University. Manila is Manila it's the Heart or Capital of the Philippines.
BGC is BGC, but it's not manila. It's in Taguig.. it's a modern city, which is convenient in all, a business district and tourist spot, working hub, ( just like here in Qatar in Lusail) which mostly Europeans live here..
Try to check , San Juan Green hills , Robinson Magnolia Residence, and Makati. There are a lot condos cheaper... You can go to BGC anytime if you have a car or service, that's the thing..

I m in the US California after living here for over 45 yr thinking about moving over sea US ad a country is going backward I don't blame you for leaving Philippines is a beautiful country I was base in Manila working for HSBC for 6 month I don't think Manila is a good place to bring up a young families so many other island with beautiful beach.

I’m sure you can find a place for that budget in BGC. I mean BGC is pretty big and has so many sections to it. Just depends where in BGC you want to live in.

If you still happen to be looking, do check out Essensa, One Serendra and Horizon Homes. Those condo's have cuts as large as Pacific Plaza Towers, with Horizon Homes in particular having the biggest cuts around BGC 😊
You can't find $2,600 that condo size in the US now. That price is only for one bedroom in an old condo. Indeed, condos there are pretty cheap by US standards. The place looks like a new York city or Chicago.
You’re right about that. The condos here in BGC are so beautiful though.
Be careful of chosing condo unit because some condos have high electricity bill and some occupants don't know why even if they are not using too much appliances.

BGC rental price rivals those bad 2bd room apartments here in Boston😂. We used to live in a high rise building in asia before moving to US, things to consider: higher less noise. Lower more convenient during emergencies.

Great question! I guess we’ll have to find out the hard way and live there🤭We will still continue to travel out of Manila. We were told at PPT they turn water off while we’re gone and won’t charge us for it as long as we tell them.

Ask some realtors if there are rent to own condo units. At least the unit will be yours though you will be paying a lot more per month which is expected.
Thanks for the tip! We did ask and they said no😩And if for some reason there are some “rent to own” condos, the listing stays in-house and the owners of that building get first choice before the public even sees the “rent to own” listings.

# 3 I would find it hard to live in a condo even though we started out with a one bedroom condo - top floor with a great
view. After a couple years my wife got tired of living in a box and we built a 3000 sq meeter home 3 blocks away on a
large lot. Four bed rooms, two master, 5th bed and private bath for the maid, 3 doggies waiting for us to come back. Lots
of fruit trees and banana which give us a lot of shade. Fenced compound of course . Can't wait to get back.
Well we’ve been living out of a suitcase for 4 years, so having a 303 sqm condo will be plenty for us in this chapter of our lives. And maybe one day we’ll decide that this isn’t our forever place and find a forever home somewhere. But this is a wonderful start for us. And your mansion sounds INCREDIBLE! husband ( Dennis ) that's hard living - It is not like you are buying the condo - best to rent for awhile and be sure. The last " big " condo looked amazing. With two growing kids the extra space for everyone to have their own space is a great plus. At our age
going back to a condo might be coming up soon. Our big home in Everett Wash. is a bit much for us now. The Lockwoods are a great family - I love their stories.@@MomDuty

150K per month! OMG! Are those really the going rate for units in BGC? Or are they giving you exorbitant 'foreigner' rates? And the units themselves are basic looking, with low ceilings, unimaginative layouts, and those cold white lights that give the space the feeling of a warehouse or government office. Please look around for a better deal. It's Manila, not London or NYC.

We absolutely love the vibe of BGC. It’s very hard to explain this area to people who aren’t familiar with it. Although we’re making our base here, we’re still going to continue to travel. Yes! There is so much more to see in BGC. We just went to Uptown and walked the streets for the first time. Ugh, sooo beautiful!
The last condo was just AMAZING 😩 The kitchen with all that natural light coming in was just gorgeous 😍 That's my dream condo right there! God bless you guys! 🙏❤
Naah thats too pricey for that its like prices here in the US😆 U should find at least 2 bedrooms for 50k monthly. Alot of cheap condos there in Ph. Its a rip off😉Check out Ortigas area too!
Ortigas Luxury Condo is slightly cheaper at 1,000 pesos psm. BGC, Makati, Rockwell are 1,200 psm. It seems like they want a 150 sqm place so expect to spend 150K pesos a month
