it's just funny when people can't read between the lines. This "friendship game" is overrated. The Ocampo's clearly have an agenda. "Ocampowoods" speaks volume. They will always be first in full and you only get crumbs of your name and served the last.
What's good about the Philippines, is that it is almost if not the center of Asia. You can travel anywhere in Asia at a very comfortable and affordable price.
Yes! Exactly! It’s so easy for us to travel from Manila to other countries in South East Asia. It’s amazing!👌Better than going back to California and then traveling from LAX to SEA Countries.

I'm proud of having to spend 27 yrs of my life in the Philippines. Being moral and being respectful to other people is something to consider when you want the kids in a Christian country.
Yes! Absolutely! And it shows as soon as you arrive. I mean even at the airport, you get a warm welcome (and we’ve been to many airports🤭).
When MomDutyverse and ABC world collided back in January -- it just clicked and locked that we all felt it just was not gonna be a collab to happen.

I totally agree with you guys! Safety and security, convinience and everything you want is already there. You can always go anywhere in the place you want to be but a home where you can do anything is better than just a vacation for an isolated place. One promising place for expats to live is Clark Global City in Pampanga. It is still in the process of building its specific concepts and designs similar to BGC. However BGC is still a top choice.
Yes! You’re right! We went to go visit Clark Global City to really see how it will be in the future. But there was a lot of construction when we went earlier on this year. But we did enjoy Clark. Some of Nelvine’s fam is there☺️
There are also very good condominiums in Cebu city, one of the safest places in the Philippines. Food prices in Cebu city are much cheaper compared to Metro Manila prices. If you're in Cebu, you are also near white sand beaches.
Oh that’s good to know. We visited Cebu for a few weeks but we weren’t looking for condos. I didn’t realize prices are more affordable there. Thanks for the tips!

The US celebrate Halloween early but the Philippines Christmas celebration is epic. Christmas start in the Philippines from September to the end of December 🎄🎁🤗👍 Merry Christmas to you guys

For first time foreigners (specially family) , BGC is the best. But when you become more familiar to Philippines then you can explore other city to live options too like Clark, Nuvali Sta Rosa, Subic Bay area, Cebu City, Iloilo City, Cagayan De Oro City, Boracay, Tagaytay City
That’s a possibility. I’d love to explore other cities. We’ve already seen Clark, Cebu City, Boracay and Tagaytay. Can’t wait to check out all the rest of the beautiful cities!🇵🇭

Totally love the idea of convincing friends to move.. And i love how the lockwood fam thought about it logically esp. “financially” very smart! And i think its good for them to decide as a family to see what would they love and feel as “their home base” that would fit for their liking.. its much better not to be pushy.. good pitch though
I agree. They have a lot to think about. But can’t help but put it out there. We’ve been away from our community of family and friends for so long and would love to be near them. But of course, it’s not what’s best for us, but ultimately what’s best for their family. Can’t blame us for trying though🤷♀️

now that I am here in the united states...I can say that living in the Philippines is much comfortable, relaxing and most important is affordable. I am here under J1 visa and as promise I will just work here and go back there to have a retirement house in our province near the beach. enjoy there momsduty team...I am the one who asked for your Christmas tree but I have no chance of getting it.

It’s so nice to live in the Philippines because if you want to visit other Asian countries is not that far to travel around. Why not moving to the Philippines. I’m going back to my homeland soon.
Exactly! It’s so easy to travel from Manila to South East Asian countries. Way better than flying from LAX.
There are still other cuties in Metro Manila that you can enjoy but a little less expensive, like here in Alabang 😁 It’s in the southest part of the Metro. There are villages (suburbs) and condos here too. You can check Filinvest area, it is still not crowded. And it is more green here 😊❤ Just a suggestion. Thanks!

About the schools, to be fair, I can only tell you more direct information about the german&french international school, which works on the german/french/european/IB education system (and give easy access to the universities then in the home country). There I can say with conviction, it is very good. But this one is in Pasig anyways.
For the others, I have to ask some parents. And of course its important to know how you want the enviroment to be.. With a lot of filipino classmates or expat kids..? And so on..
But why you dont have a look yourself - because, regarding one of the possible target audiences of your channel, a proper vlog about the international schools in Manila, doesnt exist by now. I think you would be the first ones to do so :)
If you can manage to film in some of those schools, you can help a lot of other families moving there with those questions :) I think this would be a quite popular vlog on your channel.
Even better, together with the Lockwoods :) with the prospect of your kids going to school together, like a real school with friends not only trough webcam, they can be a BIG factor on convincing the Lockwoods to move to Manila :D
Most of those international schools are all at the same area in the northeast of BCG.. ISM, Everest and the british, japanese and others.. All in walking distance to each other.
ISM has a big football/soccer field, if your kids are into that. And I think ISM is also the one that has the highest expat kids ratio in terms of country diversity and would be the best suited international school for you in BCG overall. I would guess go there first. (Maybe you can collab with @ISManila1920 - like, youtube-wise.)
My suggestion would be to come quite late in the school day, so you could also encounter some moms and dads who (still themselves) pick up their kids ;)
About the condo hunting.. There are also gated communities with more like house realty. Safety there is also no issue, so you can let your kids go by themselves in the whole neighbourhood to their friends. In the gated communities, the percentage of families with kids is higher than in the condo style apartments. Thats why I bring this up. Also, with neighbours in the classical sense (a house next to another house) it is easier to socialize and network.
Some examples would be McKinley Hills, Dasmariñas, Forbes Park and so on.. Forbes Park for example is the very green area behind the golf course and next to the Manila Polo Club, that you have seen from the window in the Pacific Plaza Towers.
But if you are more into condos and the view from there, the places where you looked, BCG and so on is a great place to find something for you. And everything, is so near to each other, the condos as well as the upper-class gated communities. But dont forget to look for the buildings in that direction and ask for future projects. Some unobstructed views you have, will not stay forever. Even if it looks nice now, it doesnt mean it looks like that forever. But at the PPT you are safe, nobody will build high buildings over the golf course and Forbes Park :)
