I'm pushing it to the wire, but consider it symbolism of how I feel the NFC could be this year (in a way). New suitors and competitors are starting to emerge onto the main stage after several years of San Francisco and Philadelphia controlling things. The Detroit's Green Bay's, and more of the world have a chance to assert themselves among the conference's elite.
What is there to look forward to here? This video will let you know. Unless you're Carolina. Then it's just hoping it doesn't get worse.

This is the Vikings. Tanking does not exist here. We’ve never had 3 straight losing season in all of the super bowl era. It’s an odd stat but it’s a true one. I believe we’re the only ones on that list as well. Anyhow SKOL VIKES, i’m ready for another year of heartbreak and misery.

Fun fact: last December, I won a contest held by the Vikings that included a bunch of merch and $1k to Ticketmaster. The people at the Vikings who contacted me afterwards were the epitome of professionalism, and when I bought tickets to their game in Jacksonville this year with the gift card they sent me even more merch.
So of course, watching their hopes and dreams for this season fall apart during training camp made me wonder if this was my fault as a Colts fan who won a contest hosted by another team - I know, the Vikings have seemingly been made to wander the Earth forever in search of an unreachable goal a la Stephen King's The Dark Tower well before they held that contest, but even if this is reparations for that 2022 game against Indy this is a bit much.
Godspeed, Vikings. May you not be cursed sometime in the near future.

Even the talkative ones have basically said, "we'll probably win enough to go to the playoffs. And thats it. And then blow it up." Multiple decades of not making it to the championship game and an organization that is happier being tagged the most valuable NFL franchise then winning games that matter have started taking their toll. If you're hearing a Cowboys fan, its frustration or acceptance. It's a weird feeling.

I’d prefer Dak over a lot of other options next year, but it doesn’t matter who we get, this team will never improve its offensive line. They haven’t had a passable one since their last Super Bowl win. And whenever they try, they never pan out (and in the case of Ereck Flowers, he ends up becoming decent when he leaves).

I love your content Tree, but you cannot compare the vets brought into Washington this year to the vets brought in to Washington back in 2000. In 2000, Washington was outright trying to buy a Superbowl. This year, these vets were chosen based on familiarly with the staff/systems. Wagner has familiarity with Dan Quinn, Zach Ertz has familiarity with Kliff Kingsbury, Austin Ekeler has familiarly with Anthony Lynn. Plus the vets this year were not signed to ludicrous contracts.

I'm so tired of the narrative that Campbell's aggressiveness costs the Lions the NFCCG. 2 catchable passes dropped on critical downs. Gibbs fumble in enemy territory. An football bouncing off a dude's face right into the hands of a SF receiver. All of those things were bigger contributors to the loss than whatever wrong decision you think Campbell made.
It's not the biggest deal in the world, but I had to say my peace.

@@imanoldurango8213It was many things that doomed us: the bad defense, the fumble, the bad defense, going for it too many times, the bad defense, the 49ers being a better overall team, the lack of playoff experience, and the bad defense. Campbell is easy to scapegoat, but he wasn't the sole reason we lost.
I personally blame our terrible defense as the primary cause of the loss.

Carlton Davis is gone and the end of season schedule was favorable to them. I don't think they regress that far, but just miss the playoffs this year.

the reason the lions lost the NFCCG wasn't because of three points while up 24-7, the reason they lost was the following consecutive procession of 1. kindle vildor's immaculate bounce failure by the endzone, 2. jahmyr gibbs fumbling the ball, and 3. josh reynolds being unable to catch two passes

God's a packers fan it literally makes perfect sense the luck of QBs the fact that every other team in the North are pretty much cake-walks but definitely it's because of what's happened to the vikings and the bears.

Well, I was kinda expecting you to not really put that much effort into predicting how all the NFL teams are going to do this year because all I do know is that the league is once again going to get f*cked, especially when there is only like 4 or 5 teams who really have a real chance to make or win the Super Bowl. Overall though, those are some pretty bold predictions you have made there, Tree! I definitely do hope that my 9ers will win it all this year!!! Oh, I also have an idea on which "You Blew It" clips you can use whenever a team blows their game: 1. The first clip I can think is from "Play It Again, Charlie Brown" where in one scene, Violet and Lucy are sitting in front of Schroder's piano talking away. Then, at one point, Schroder stops playing the piano and he pulls it away from the two girls because (I guess) he got really annoyed, and that's when Lucy tells Violet, "You blew it, kid!" 2. The other clip I can think of is from the Family Guy episode, "Christmas Guy." There is a scene where Vinny the dog is trying to imitate Brian for Stewie and Vinny reads a script that has the words "You blew it" many times. Anyways, the clip that you should use is when Vinny says "Knock Knock! Who's there? You blew it." Then Stewie says "You blew it who?" And Vinny answers "You blew it bad!" I know there's another clip that you could use, but I can't seem to remember what it was. Anyways, it's just thought that came to me and I thought that you would like to use these clips for these occasions. Keep up the awesome work, Tree and I definitely can't wait for NFL Sportsball (2024) to start coming out! 😁

The fact you have the Saints as having the same chance of getting to the playoffs as the Bucs is disrespectful. Everyone is sleeping on the Bucs and thinking they are going to have an off year. I'm calling my shot. 10 wins, win division, make NFC Championship and lose to the Lions.
It's more on baker always having consistency issues. We love him otherwise but he needs to stop this whole falling apart when there are expectations on him thing. This is the 3rd time he has had expectations put on him. If he collapses again, he is done.
