NOTE: Skip to 12:07 to avoid playoff aftermaths and go right to the Super Bowl preview.
We have once again reached the apex of the NFL season: Super Bowl LVIII. A clash of two titans that have fought through hell and back to get here. This time around, it's a matchup that we a lot of us expected to see at the start of the year. It just happened in some rather unorthodox ways. The Kansas City Chiefs couldn't catch anything worth a damn. The San Francisco 49ers danced through adversity and miscues aplenty in the playoffs.
It leads to a rematch of the event that took place four years ago. A game that ended Andy Reid's legacy of being unable to win the big game. Perhaps this time it's Kyle Shanahan's turn? There's only one way to find out... and it's not with this video.
Here’s something interesting:
The Niners and Chiefs will play a playoff game at Allegiant Stadium before the Raiders.
Arrowhead West. Lol.

The steelers and seahawks played a playoff game in Ford field 18 years before Detroit did

The Eagles around halfway through the season were in debates about being the best team in football. At the end of the season, there’s a debate whether or not they were the worst team in football. That level of fall off is catastrophic. I have no idea how Nick Sirianni still is employed.
Well, remember how Doug got fired because he didn't want to change and wanted to keep his guys while ownership wanted to bring in people from outside the team? Well, Sirianni appears to have ACCEPTED what Doug wouldn't. Nick is willing to let go of his stubborness and hire people outside the team in Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio and step back and be a CEO coach like John Harbaugh.

@@wooly1293 What a misleading stat lmao...Tom Brady is 0-1 against Tannehill in the playoffs..
Yes Mahomes is better... because he is the best qb statistically EVER. Only 1 qb can make it to the SB each year, and unfortunately the AFC has gone from Brady to Mahomes over the past 25 years. This definitely was a squandered opportunity for Lamar and the Ravens, but he is still one of the best qbs in the league and just because you don't like him doesn't mean he isn't.

This was honestly the most painful NFL season in recent memory, and I'm not just saying this as a Bills fan. No one's winning this year and it saddens me.
To be honest, football has sucked for years, the NFL has ripped the heart and soul out of the game, and it’s just corporate greed now, and its disgusting and pathetic to watch

I'm a 30+ year Lions fan, all I know is pain. I'm not even mad about it, we were playing with House Money, we live and die by over aggression, it killed us there, it happens. Ben's staying and there's always next year, I'm numb to them losing, but I will not ever let go of a 14 win season in Detroit, you'll never take that from us.
That's the attitude you have to take. The future is strong.
As a Niners fan, that game is honestly the worst I’ve felt about a my team winning a trip to the Superbowl. I love the Lions, their attitude and approach. I think the only bad call on 4th Dan made was kicking the field goal before the half. Hell, I was shocked he didn’t go for 2 on that last TD. Put the fear of god in the Niners before the onside.
I’m thrilled you get to keep your OC and wish you all the luck stomping the stuffing out of the NFC north next year.
@@evilducks3710 Thank you. No hard feelings. Go win a Superbowl (though you will need to play better than you did against us and the Packers).

My guess, I sort of did a jinx.
All I'm saying is that this still isn't enough. Us Eagles deserve a 1 hour rant, at least, on how bad this team was
It was terrible but luckily it seems the Eagles are learning from their mistakes this year by bringing in experinced coordinators in Vic Fangio and Kellen Moore. Hopefully, we can back to the dance next year and don't let our old loser of a head coach beat us again. Seriously, this city loves a man who lost us 2 Super Bowls and 5 NFC Championship games. I don't get it. Philly should absolutely HATE Andy Reid yet we love him like a god. Makes no sense.
@thephoenixxm4160 tbf you have to make it that far to lose those games it hurts yes but its still good to get there. Our SB 52 win had alot of factors good and bad.
I think you guys will be okay next year. The house cleaning was a good thing for the team and there's lots of talent still. I'm still shocked at the collapse.
@@seafooddiablo5686 Yeah, and now our fatso of a former Head Coach is on his way to win more rings than the Eagles can ever hope of having. @@thephoenixxm4160 you just pointed out the reason why cowboys fan still can’t stand Jason Garrett
As a Washington fan, I want San Francisco to win. Because we already hear enough about all the talent we squandered, it's time some of that talent actually get over the hump and actually win like we wanted them to do with us. Trent Williams, Chase Young, and Kyle Shanahan all should be allowed to win a Super Bowl now that Dan Snyder's gone, even if it's with a different team.
Washington needs to fire their president so they can become the Redskins again. That idiot was the entire reason they dropped the name to begin with and despite actual Natives clamoring to have it back, he's refusing point blank.
As a niners fan I was cheering for y'all way back when Sam Howell stepped in and put in some mad numbers despite the o line giving up so many sacks (as an outsider I think he did great with what he had, but just couldnt last). Still hoping the momentum from the end of the Snyder era brings y'all up

I don't blame Tyler Bass for that missed field goal. If the Bills had been playing up to their full potential, he wouldn't have had to be put in that position to start with
The Bass miss is meaningless. It would have tied the game and Mahomes had all day to win it. Bills couldn’t stop him. It’s just cruelty to bring him and an utterly irrelevant kick up over and over again
Even if he makes the kick they still probably lose. Would have only tied with with several minutes on the board.
I can't say for other 49ers fans but Shanahan either makes you say "wtf is this guy doing as a head coach" or "oh my god who js this football mastermind?"

2) Crazy how AJ Klein went from getting his RV packed for the Keys to guarding the best TE in history 1 on 1 in only ten days. Life comes at you fast, huh
Remember when Diggs could catch a long ball? - A Bills fan
Of course Shanahan choked away another Super Bowl
I never wanna see the 49ers in the Superbowl again as long as he's there
As a niners fan, I want more digs at wilks. Maybe we’ve been too spoiled with Ryans and Saleh, but Wilks has an uncanny ability to take the most skilled defense in the league and make them perform mid-tier against mediocre opponents. He makes almost no adjustments in game. I have a bad feeling the KC offense might get to shine in Vegas
Seahawks fan here, and I gotta say two things:
1. You had a really good season I must say (if not for injuries you could have gotten 15 wins and maybe better stats than Baltimore in the regular season)
And 2. The 90’s uniforms with the red numbers black outline and white are one of my favorite jerseys in NFL history.
I think you’re too hard on Wilks, he’s been pretty good at adjusting at half time. Both the GB and Lions game the defense turned around the second half. He’s not Ryans or Saleh, but I don’t think he’s as bad as we make him out to be. I think a lot of our d line just isn’t living up to the billing. young most of all… he’s… not good.
I gotta disagree on the Lions game. Their own offense failed. The dropped balls and failed 4ths bailed us, if those catches had been made our players would be watching the superbowl like us. That, and they largely abandoned their successful run game. Shanahan made some terrible offensive schemes in the first half but the lions and GB game showed HIS ability to adjust, if a bit late. If Lions hadnt lost the game themselves Wilks’ skill at DC would be even more scrutinized. But yes, for the talent of Bosa, Hargrave, and Armstead the D line absolutely should be wreaking more havoc than they actually do.
The good news for Ravens fans this year was there was only one team in the league who could beat us, the bad news is that team was the Ravens. Absolute meltdown from the coaches to the players. KC outplayed, out coached, and out muscled us. The game was never more than 10 points out of reach and yet most of the game it felt like we were down by 20. This is worse than Lee Evans & Billy Cundif.
That game had a lot of good defense, but yeah it felt like Baltimore was getting in their own way
I wanted this matchup solely because everyone else didn’t
Same lol.
I'm a California native Chiefs fan. I'm 100% ok beating my family's team again. I wanted another Kelce bowl, but this was my 2nd want.
The kind of person that's a fan of America's two party system
As a Texans fan I am rooting for the 49ers because it's funny to look at Cowboys fans getting mad that the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl again and they haven't even been to a Championship since the Texans became a team
In 10 years I'm willing to bet dallas will win another SB before Houston lol
@@FreshPrincex4 the amount of copium on display with this comment is unreal
As a 49ers fan i really hope it’s our time, this may be our last shot at a Ring
Nah, I doubt it. Even if you lose you will still have talent at literally every single position something which a lot of teams wish they could have. Besides, you have no clear rivals. All your so-called conference rivals fell the fuck off including the team you and your fanbase bitched about all off-season about how they were frauds and that you would've crushed them if Purdy didn't get injured. Now, you have a chance to do what my Eagles couldn't and beat the Chiefs as the final "see told you!" as an Eagles fan this Super Bowl is a lose-lose. Either our old coach who didn't win us a single Super Bowl and lost 5 NFC Championships wins his 3rd after beating us the previous Super Bowl or the team whose players and fanbase wouldn't shut the fuck up about the NFC Championship will get to rub it in our faces. Woof.
Please PLEASE take Kelce's and Mahomes' egos down a peg.
Yes and please don’t let Taylor celebrate be where all the cameras pan when the game ends
Why the last shot?
@@greekfire995Ah yes, another salty ass worthless casual fan in the comment section
I’m a niners fan and I know I’m biased but how are we not also a feel good narrative?? Even before the lions game, we were hated for no reason. Mr irrelevant is a great story, coming back from a major surgery. We have cmc, kittle Samuel, bosa, tons of likable dudes. I really don’t understand how the narrative changed on us so fast
"You were hated for no reason". Dude, YOUR ENTIRE FANBASE AND TEAM wouldn't shut the fuck up about last year's NFC Championship. You guys wouldn't shut up about all the anti-Eagles talk you were spouting and how the Eagles are frauds and that your team should've won if Purdy didn't get injured and all that whining. Now, your team gets to do what mine couldn't because of a single penalty that took away a 3rd down stop; beat the Chiefs. I want neither team to win as an Eagles fan. Do I want the Niners and their fans to rub their win in our faces or do I want our old head coach who didn't win us a single Super Bowl but then beat us last year to win 3 while we only have won one.
I'm in an office full of AFC North fans, we are all rooting for ya
Because you honestly were the closest thing to a legitimate team in the nfc
That's why you were hated
Also the packers fired almost everyone for that disaster
It's just because everyone wanted the lions to make the superbowl lmao that's really it
@@kurtpunchesthings2411 I really don’t think it is. This anti Purdy narrative has been all season, before it became clear anyone was a real competitor

This Super Bowl will have to go down in history as the worst possible outcome for Raiders fans.
The Raiders two main rival teams playing in their stadium, and one of them will win there.
I think the only way that would make it worse is if they were still in Oakland and somehow got a SB there.
Hahah it's no secret who the Broncos and Raiders want to win this superbowl lol
There would be a shootout with guns and bullets instead of pig skin flying through the air if it was in Oakland 🤣. Raiders and 49ers fans in Cali are literally like crips vs bloods and it’s deadly!
To everyone seeing this. I apologized. my chargers let the chiefs win the AFC West this year again. Hopefully, we can prevent this happening next season with Jim Harbaugh. No promises. You all know why.
Well... Tree nailed it hard...
Did he bought a set of tissues for Five Points after losing a cursed player (Toney) eligible for another Superbowl ring???
That would be hilarious...
At this point Kansas City are the Roman Reings of NFL ☝
UT, I’ve gotta hand it to you. You are, hands down, my favorite sports commentator of all time. I started watching your videos in 2018, and you’ve never failed to make me happy.
Thank you for being brutal yet entertaining. Your videos are insightful and yet bitterly cutting.
When you show up in my feed, I know I’m in for a good time.

@@matthewsimonds3346 If they're legit trying to learn, and in doing so become a fan of the Chiefs or any of the other 31 teams, totally fine, great. But if all they care about KC is Taylor Swift, then I'm not giving them a pass.

Trump vs Biden election

From the pathophysiologists and healthcare experts in the medical communities I sometimes hang around, another global pandemic is certainly inevitable especially with how poor we as humanity have handled COVID.
Dude, even Democrat voters don't want Biden to run again. Besides, if it's Newsom who gets the nomination, he's gonna get destroyed unless votes mysteriously appear in the middle of the night like last time.

Do you know what made me feel better as an Eagles fan hearing my team get annihilated? Having the Cowboys been in the next segment and just being laughed at the entire segment no words necessary. I don’t feel so bad anymore.
The Packers going dream run would've been ideal, But likely finding our next great QB, punking Dallas, and firing Joe Barry is truly a great year.
Who do you think the packers will replace?
At this point, if the Niners win, I would love it if Christian McCaffrey, Sam Darnold, and Steve Wilks grab their Super Bowl rings, put it in their middle fingers, and flash them all across David Tepper's face.
Lets go 49ers!!!
Always liked them, and as a Raider fan, I might actually die watching the Chiefs win in our stadium
