Been using spray nine on my airplane to remove oil and exhaust and front end of my vehicles to remove bugs when washing best stuff on the market

I had a 1986 Fiero GT. It was one of the most fun-to-drive cars I've ever had and I've had quite a few. Would still love to have one now. Thanks Chad for bringing back some memories.
The GT's we're V6's I think? It was the better model. My buddy back then had a standard 4 cylinder model, thing could go anywhere..snow would rip the door panels off though. He did a bunch of head gaskets and clutches, but it was a really fun car.

Just a thought on the hemi ignition maybe check out pertronix ignition change over you will never need to adjust or clean the points again Just a thought as I changed over an old boat motor and it never ran better By the way Jolene you are the best standing up for Chad hats off to you and Chad 👍❤

The Fiero basically uses three kinds of plastic: reaction-injection-molded (RIM) polyurethane, a "soft" plastic designed to take knocks on the front and rear bumpers; reinforced-reaction-injection-molded (RRIM) polyurethane, a harder, but still supple plastic used on the sides and doors of the Fiero; and a harder sheet molding compound (SMC), used on the roof, the hood and trunk lid.
This is really great info for me. I am sure I have been running my DA sander way to fast for years now. This is the first time I have heard this. UDAMAN.
I watched for like 10 minutes and picked up how to sand my peeling clear coat. Thank You very much. Thank You Jolene for your camera work.

A lot of people with old cars, trucks and tractors use Spray Nine as a good mild, but effective cleaner. It works well under the hood and on engine too.

Love how you keep using house hold things like you use to clean and de- grease. I never heard of simple 9, I think you said.
I use simple vinegar to strip rust off the metal before I rework it too. It's cheap and it works.

Thanks for the tips. I never painted a whole vehicle but plan on painting my truck 2 tone. I have learned a lot of things over the years and 90 % I have kept.. the 10 % I threw away is stuff I don't have the guts to do.. lol keep up the awesome work! Thanks again Chad, Jolene and Fina.

Spray nine is supposed to be a powerful universal cleanser and degreaser. On this side of the ocean we have a similar product called Chanteclair, my mechanic also uses it to clean the engine when he has to prepare the car for overhaul. 😉

I tried some diluted Dawn liquid for cleaning wax and oils off when I was out of paint shop wax remover based on Chad's thought process and from comments over the years about never using dishwasher liquid because it will remove the wax. Seems to work. The twist on sanding is I use a blow gun on the sanded surface and the sand paper which gives the sandpaper a longer useful life but I usually do that outside.
Chad's sanding advice is right on. I bought a vette the previous owner sanded the wrong way and as he says the finger marks do show through and are magnified by the finished paint. Proper sanding technique is important especially on fiberglass or abs.

Chads on a level above most in many ways from his big hart to his ability and want to share his talent there is many ways to do the things he does and he is very aware of that and he will point it out every time and give an explanation as to why he does it his way even when the answer is because it's the way I do it he's not holding a gun to your head telling you to watch his videos and do things the way he does them
