I have wanted to make this quilt for YEARS but since I got hurt my brain doesn’t work all that well anymore and the thought of trying to figure out the pattern and sewing and picking over and over again just wasn’t going to happen. I can’t wait to start it now that it is feasible. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I applaud you effort on this monster😮 I have made my daughter THREE KING SIZE QUILTS!!!!! I have NEVER attempted this HUGE carpenter’s star! My daughter WANTS a double wedding ring-NOT HAPPENING 😂 I think you did an outstanding job on mapping out the grid on this & one thing that scared me were the “stripes” & one way designs, but everything came out like you planned it-“one way prints be damned!” I was holding my breath when you were sewing the borders on! 😘

At first I was a little bit disdainful of cutting on the diagonals prior to stitching -- however, if you starch the hell out of your precuts and background, you will alleviate the concern about the stretching. Miss Tiffany, you are a genius at organization. I love the pattern and your execution. Thank you for opening my eyes to the use of stickies to track each individual fabric through the process.
