This must have taken hours and hours and hours to film, edit and review before you shared your knowledge with us. I am amazed. Like so many other reviews have said, I appreciate your presentation ( no speechafying!) Thank you! From a new subscriber.
I watch videos on my fire tablet and there is a dropdown panel that lets you adjust the playback speed. Search around d on your device maybe you can do the same. I play most videos at 1.25 so they go a little faster. Some presenters talk slowly to be easy to follow so sometimes I want to view faster than the speed that they record at.
@@deborahjacobs2265 If you see the settings gear icon, you can click it, go to playback speed and you have several options. When you’re done, you’ll need to set it back to normal speed, or the next video you watch will also be slow. I usually turn the volume all the way down when the speed is set to anything but normal. I love that she did all the words as banners, so that will work fine.
Thanks for a great tutorial. No nonsense dialog, good music and lovely quilting. You accomplished in a short amount of time a great deal of good information.
This is the BEST instructional video I have ever seen. So well presented. Best solution for quilting in small spaces or while watching movies and spending time with friends and family. ❤❤❤
I just came across your channel. I've been a quilter for almost 50 years. I do believe you have one of the best quilting channels. I've never done a QAYG quilt. Thank you for the detailed instructions. ❤👏 I also LOVE the classical music. 🎶
Bravo!! Thank you for not talking, it would have detracted from your wonderful sewing skills. A great video and the solution to not sending out the quilt top for expensive long arm quilting!
This is the best video I think I’ve ever seen on the various QAUG techniques. Comprehensive and clear! Well done and Thank You! I’ll be saving it to refer to in the future!
I really can’t thankyou enough for this video! I’ve recently started quilting and have been struggling to be creative as I didn’t know how to make different types of patches. This turutorial is just amazing ❤
You can sew on muslin too instead of batting if you are wanting a huge quilt top to fit into a domestic washing machine. Don't want to take it to a laundromat to be washed for a summer quilt, this works fabulous. Muslin is much cheaper than batting if you're on a budget. You out did yourself once again with this video. Thanks for your amazing teaching skills and sharing this process. You blessed many of us and you need to know this.... Thanks again
This is the best QAG video that I have seen showing all the possible sashing options. Also loved the music, especially as I have returned to parts of it over and over.
I love this. I have started doing sewing as you go temples and have done a brick pattern haven’t put it together, but I have sewn a lot of them and I have a quilt wall that I’m putting them up onto to see which way I want it to go with colors and things like that. It’s so easy I love doing it. This is easier to try thank you very much for showing me..
I needed this so badly. I promised to make a quilt for a raffle for a basketball tournament and I don’t want to pay to have it quilted. I’m still deciding which # I like best but I think I will do it row by row. Thank you sew much. Health and happiness in 2024 from Canada.
Teresa Thank you so much, as soon as I saw your name I knew it wood be something we could all understand just like your patchwork designs, thank you so much.🎉💕
Some of these techniques have opened my mind up to the possibilities.. which are endless!! Thank-you I needed to see this video. Now to find the courage 😂 Have a blessed year 2024
I SEW appreciate this video. I was trying to figure methods for my previously done QAYG blocks, and didn't know where to start. You have given me many methods to try! Thanks Ms. DownUnder.
I’ve wanted to make a quilt as you go but thought it was a waste of my time to sew on paper then rip it off. Your idea is Excellent! Cool way to put blocks together, too!
I am amazed at all the techniques and block designs demonstrated. This video was fast without all that talking during construction. Bravo to instructor and I’ve subscribed, liked and SAVED tutorial. If you are afraid of quilting on your sewing machine, fear not because it inspire you to try it!
I never knew there were so many techniques for doing this. I've been quilting for a few years and I am still learning new things almost every day. I've been hand quilting my quilts which can take a long time. But having them quilted is expensive. So, this idea could work for me as I wouldn't have to struggle with the weight of a full quilt while trying to work on it. Thank you for being generous with your skills. Great video.
This is thrilling to watch, and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for all your work, on the sewing, the experimenting, and the filming and editing. You are so generous, thank you. P.S. My favorite technique is #5!!! With #7 a close tie. And Flying Confetti is my favorite quilt design. Will put your book in my budget. 🙏🌈✨
