Talk about a great tutorial! You always amaze me with all of your wonderful ideas Teresa but you have really out done yourself. Simple blocks yet what beautiful patterns and they appear so complicated yet they aren’t. Thank you for sharing with us! love Love Love this whole lesson!❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰😊
I never knew that we could make so many formations with just two blocks. Your are really inspiring me to love patch work more and more. I must try this out. Thanks for sharing and god bless you.
Ill be honest---I usually fast forward through some of these tutorials, bu t this one I watched the whole way, and mostly because of the music!!! Loved every minute of this one, both visual and audio!
Thanks for this video! I wish I can show you the pics of how well my squares came out! I am going to start using up all my scraps and building a pile of blocks to eventually pout them together into a quilt. You da bestest!
Love, Love, thank you so very much, I love watching your skill, and the biggest joy you bring to me is my Hubby will sit and watch too, a big no, no, not quilting again, he just loves the music, which has him like me spell bound to the quilting and music, ❤
I've been thinking about making blocks using this method - but most YT channels show it using Jelly Rolls. So I wondered if it could be possible with our own cuts, making 1 or 2 blocks at a time. And - BAM - here it is. Yay! So, I just ordered a copy of the book from Amazon - and eagerly await it's arrival. 😁 Thanks for sharing
Years ago i saw a quilt made like this and fell in love with it. Not being quilter I wasn't able to figure it out. Came across a pattern and bought it hoping I could someday make it. So far have't succeeded.
As an Austrian I not only adore your technics as also your music background ❤ Love from the Land that sounds similar to your land but has no Kangaroos 😂 🇦🇹
Beautiful music choices! Amazing inspiring tutorials! Thank you. I am never disappointed and I always learn something even though I have been doing this for a certain amount of years ❤
Love this variation with the striped block. I never thought of doing that. Next quilt I’m giving it a go. Thank you from Vancouver Island, Canada. ps, I love the music that you use. So soothing to listen and watch.
Great tutorial! We make small quilts for kids in local hospital. These would be fun and easy blocks for beginners in our group. Then if we use your qayg method from an earlier video, we’ll have a great stash of finished quilts. Worth a ‘subscribe!
This video is the best thing I've seen in a long time!! You are so artistic! I've saved this and I'm anxious to try one of these or more 👍❤️. Thank you so much!! I was taken back by all the choices laying them out... Love this so much!!
@@teresadownunder I recently gave away the vinyl soundtrack from the 1968 film! That's 55 years ago, so I doubt you were around to have seen it in a theater when released. I did, so it obviously dates me. The entire film had classical selections for various scenes, the only reason I purchased the album. Interesting movie, but also strange. There was a second follow up similar film (1984) starring my fave actress, Helen Mirren (who portrayed a Russian scientist), and Roy Scheider, entitled "2010: The Year We Make Contact," which eerily depicts what could easily happen today when considering the Space Station and the two major nations involved in its support and in the current conflict. Disturbing if one actually studied the potential for a nuclear conflict, but definitely worth watching. Well, that's my history lesson for today. LOL.
Lots to think about with your video. I'm wondering if you have a favorite method? Which method is the least amount of "extra" work compared to traditional quilting? which method seems to hide the fact that it is a QAYG? I can see that any of them would work on a domestic machine when a long arm is not available. Thank you!!

One of my favorite versions of the waltz, and the exact version used in the old sci-fi movie, "2001 Space Odyssey."
I didn’t know that!

All of the blocks on the video are about the same amount of the work. I suppose the blocks with fewer strips are faster
