My natural nails are long and strong. My husband fell from a ladder and I grabbed him and bent one of my nails all the way back. Omgosh, it hurt so bad, but I kept my husband from landing on our hardwood floors. 🎉 Now, I'm terrified of ever feeling that pain again, so.....enter builder gel! I have a whole bunch of brands and tools, bits, lamps, you name it.... and no true knowledge on how to use any of it. I've never had too. 😅 I look forward to watching all of your videos and shorts to figure out how to navigate the gel life. 💅🏼 Thank you! Much love and many blessings. 🕊

I love love love builder gel. I have both the bottle and the pot but i like the bottle much better. I don't do tips I use forms and form the nails out past my natural nails. I don't do super long either. I type a lot and if i keep hitting a key i don't want to hit then i know they are to long. I used to do acrylic but that leaves that little bump at the back of your nail when they grow out, i don't get that with the builder. So i have builder gel, poly gel, dip and acrylic. I do poly gel every once in awhile but my favorite go to builder in a bottle. Thanks for the video. Have a great day y'all!

Love this!!! Builder gel really is awesome and so user friendly!! I’ve been playing around more with gel x and going to do some polygel again soon too! I tried acrylic but it was so smelly I had a headache for 2 days! Have a great day too!!

Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks!! If i do thin layers of builder gel, can i only cure 15 sec per layers and lets say after the 3rd or 4th layer i do a full cure? I only do 1 nail at a time because i need practice..Also the gel is sheer nude. 😢💕

@@catous733 you’re welcome!! no you cannot cure 15 seconds per layer. You need to do at least 60 seconds per layer, if not longer depending on the brand of builder gel and your lamp. Unfortunately curing 15 seconds will leave each layer partially cured, and then it will never fully cure when you get to the end of the layers. So you’d be leaving uncured gel on your nails, which will lead to gel allergies. The slip layer that I do is super thin and does not get cured so that when I do a small bead of builder gel over top of that slip layer that basically creates just one layer and you fully cure that layer before doing another layer. if your nails are short, you should only need the slip layer plus the small bead of builder gel that goes on top of that slip layer and combines to make one layer of builder gel. Are your nails short like mine in the video or are they really long? Even when my nails are really long I only do two layers of builder gel- fully caring in between each of them!

@NicolesBeautyScene Thank you sooo much, makes more sense now. Yes, my nails are short, just want to make them stronger. Some are thin and bendy! Very appreciate your info!! 💕🥰

I found glass bottles randomly at a store and grabbed them! They’re really hard to find!
