We flew Play last month and it was great. Coming from NYC we took a car, but Megabus has a route to Stewart for $25. There were 5 of us. One of the group complained about the cost of parking for 7 days. So I reminded him that the parking cost about $100, but we cumulatively saved $2500 in airplane costs!

Wow this is amazing thank you for the comment. The bus is great if you are solo but as a group you will save more driving and just parking. We opted to drive and park and this helped us save a lot as well

I live in the Lehigh Valley in PA so SWF is about a 2 hour drive and no traffic. So I would definitely prefer to fly out of there than JFK. I'm used to low cost carriers, as I normally fly Allegiant when I go to Florida. So I pretty much know what to expect when flying Play. Hopefully I'll be able to fly Play to Iceland and Liverpool as both are on my bucket list.

Not impressed with their policy at all! I usually dont get the cancellation policy but life thaught me that for longer flights or more expensive trips it might be a good idea so imagine my dissapointement when it turns out it doesnt matter in the end as apparently earthquakes and an errupting volcano isnt a good enough reason to cancel my flights to Iceland. Only a doctor's note, covid or death is included in their policy. So now Im down over 300 euro plus extra money for a cancellation insurace that is genuinly useless!
Dont do it guys, its worth paying more somewhere else they at least care about their passengers.

I saw that when I was checking out. I figured my credit card has basically the same travel protection so there was absolutely no reason for me to buy it. I also didn't feel the need to pay for their highest plan for a refundable or changeable flight (which you usually pay for in the normal airlines too)
