Agree. I'm 5-7 and can't imagine how someone any taller can get comfortable unless they are in first class maybe.

Was curious if you have any videos on how to reset from a trip, organize pictures and videos, and recalibrate. I see a lot of videos about trip planning but little about the backend of travel.

Regarding neck pillow: Some budget airlines started to count it as a personal item. Be aware about carry-on and/or personal item restrictions of airline - so many new downsized restrictions about size/weight with nearly all airlines.

This video dropped while I was inflight from FCO-ORD. 1 hour before departure(when unassigned seats are assigned for international) , I checked my seat against the seat map in the Carriers app. I switched from a full row up front to an empty row in the back of the aircraft . Also, in addition to merino T Shirt, Merino underwear helps a whole lot as well. PS,don’t wash or brush teeth with airplane lavatory water!

I just got back from a vacation with 6 flights, all over 5 hours each. NONE of the planes had screens. Passengers are now expected to plug in a tablet or phone with USB into the system to access the plane's entertainment. The airlines I was aboard were Alaska and Hawaii.

Have you tried the Timeshifter ap? It was helpful for avoiding jetlag on our most recent trip to Europe. Appreciate your middle-section aisle suggestion. I used to take the window, now take the aisle because getting stuck for hours on end is awful.

Dressing in layers is so essential! When i was flying back from bangkok, the plane was like a fridge it was so cold!

Great as always. Apart from the wobly tray table, exit rows in the front increases the chances of a crying baby exponentially. So I do not only avoid those but the the two rows behind also.

Great content 👍only thing I do differently is no wool . Silk or silk like polyester in layers can take me from 80 to 20 without shedding . Personally I have found wool even the best can have an itch attack without warning.

I make frequent trips to SE Asia and I always get an aisle seat. I also take a hoodie as planes can get cool and I also like to put the hood up to let people know I’m unavailable. I download Netflix shows on my iPad and you can binge an entire season. I also listen to audio books. Get a Bose Quiet Comfort headset, the battery life is great and the noise canceling is not only great for plane noise but really works great for crying kids.

I’ll be flying internationally for the first time in July. I have completely converted everything and all my tech to USB-C, so thanks for the reminder about USB-A. I have a huge charging brick but I don’t want to be taking up each socket. I’m assuming there’s AC power for each seat?

Depends on the plane/airline, but it's more and more common these days. Good luck on your flight! Have a nice trip.

Almost always on an international flight, but I've yet to fly a Southwest flight that had AC power or USB ports. Sad.

For me it’s - no short shorts- why would you want your skin on those gross seats? And open toed shoes. No one wants to look at your feet for hours, plus airplanes are not clean and why risk injury. Not a good idea in case you need to evacuate the plane on the ground. Good tip to mention how dehydrating flights are.

I thoroughly enjoy all your videos. A few months ago I spent 5 weeks on the road (train) in Italy, France and Switzerland. You videos really made the trip trekking across Europe as a single 76 year old man enjoyable. BUT, yes that inevitable BUT NOT BUTT. Sleeping on the aircraft. The reason I do not sleep in a sitting position is that I snore. I do not want to be that decrepit old man snoring disturbing everyone. I can not find any assistance on line. Suggestions? Thank you.
