Dr. Mona, God bless you! I have been using your eating combination suggestions, i also watch portions closely, have lost 12 lbs in a week and a half!!! I thought i couldn't lose weight anymore, I'm 68 and take blood pressure medication as well as being pre-diabetic. When i saw your video's they inspired me. I am SO GRATEFUL! I LOVE YOUR BLOUSE, BEAUTIFUL!!! JUST LIKE YOU🥰🤗💞👏👍
Loved all your healthy suggestions. Especially about the mini frig request and using the mini bar. Things I've brought while traveling: my own small water filter/fresh fruit, banana, apple/decaf teas/lemon/small packets of tuna/utensils. Yes on finding a local grocery store and getting food for the frig. Saves so much money and is convenient/healthy.
This video is perfect!!! I had no idea a mini fridge could be ordered AND I can ask for everything to be removed from the fridge prior to arrival!! How amazing is that!! THANK YOU for this great tip. Please keep the videos coming! I eat pretty clean, not a vegan, more of a plant-base. 😊💖 Also, which vitamins are you consuming, and why you’re consuming them?
How do you pack all of this? Is it in a carryon? I’m wondering the weight and if you had to pay for bring all these yummy snacks. Love the video as ALWAYS 💓💞
Thank you for this! I’m finally going back to a vegan diet (after several years off) Super helpful! Also try hu chocolate orange-dream. It’s literally the best
Such good ideas, I have done similar things when I travel also. I also try to find a Whole Foods to purchase some items. As a doc and you being a pharmacist, we know it’s hard to find healthy restaurants when traveling. Thank you for doing this video
Dear Dr Vand, I'm trying today for first time the four sigmatic coffee, and boy it's not bad at all!!! I also purchased the four sigmatic cacao, purely Elizabeth oatmeal apple cobbler and wow it's not bad either. Thank you that you take care of what you put into your body and you share it with us. And Thrive market does have very very low prices. All my best. Hug.
Thanks for the tip on the packets of almond butter! I'm also glad you mentioned popcorn. You could pack plain popcorn kernels and a paper bag and pop it in the microwave! Would buying whole hemp seeds and grinding them up in a Vitamix be equivalent to a hemp protein powder? Currently using the Moon Juice protein powders (from your suggestions) but am looking to be more zero waste in my every day living.
The hotel I stayed recently at Miami Beach says they charge for a mini fridge, and they charge for utensils if you aren’t ordering room service for F & B from them. They also said the fridge for mini bar isn’t intended to be used as a guest refrigerator when I asked them to clear the mini bar upon arrival of the hotel. So it depends which hotels you are staying, it can get pricey.
Hello dr Mona, thanks for the tips..very useful and content! Just to suggest if you could list them (at least some of the items) into the decription..million thanks dr.mona.. from Malaysia (next to Brunei and Singapore)
I take fruit apples , bananas, cucumbers, carrots so I have actual foods . Also I look for places that make smoothies with actual veggies and fruits and no juice.
Love the idea of calling ahead to remove alcohol/snacks. I’ve always brought my healthy things with, starts when you’re a mom. Your oatmeal has 6 g of sugar that’s a lot for the morning I would bring tuna packs that you can just cut open or tear open and buy avocados and bananas and berries once you get there and the salsa you can mix with avocados to make a quick guacamole and pick up the hummus, the bars have so much sugar in the park Stevia pop is not that good for you you’ve got more sugar items LOL Chia seed is also good to put in your cereal or plain Greek yogurt dip your corn chip
@@DrMonaVand well, you learn something new every day, don't you. Nice one, I'll be re-adding them to my diet. I've got another question, is there a way to email or DM you?
@@keithabeynayake1 Gluten is only an issue for those with celiac disease, or if you have a wheat allergy. There isn't any evidence removing gluten from your diet improves your heath otherwise. You should also be aware that gluten free foods, in order to be more appealing, tend to add sugar, fat and salt. It's marketing: they can charge higher prices for these products if people believe they are healthier.
Please do a video about good and bad foods for acne!
Avoid kfc and fried oily foods if u want something magical then try Mr agustinus bader careem

For a longer trips it is better to use Airbnb or similar options. Then you can choose options with kitchen and all necessary staff for cooking.
You’re so creative! Thanks for sharing! I love your ideas!
Thanks for the great information! The Fiji water and Justin's PB having palm oil was great info!
Fiji water? Is that better than other bottled water?
Such a good and worthwhile video!!! Keep your real life hacks coming!
A bit common sense though?
It’s often so much easier to just eat garbage while traveling. Good snack ideas!
Dr. Mona, thanks for this awesome video! I’m looking into getting some vitamins. What vitamins do you take?
Some unprocessed vegan snacks are dried fruits (prunes & raisins), seeds (pepitas & sunflower), nuts (pistachios, hazelnuts, cashews, walnuts, & almonds) and legumes (peanuts).
Such good ideas, I have done similar things when I travel also. I also try to find a Whole Foods to purchase some items. As a doc and you being a pharmacist, we know it’s hard to find healthy restaurants when traveling. Thank you for doing this video

What would you recommend instead of hemp?
Almond butter into oatmeal? Isn’t that breaking a food combining rule as I thought almonds are considered a protein?
I alllllwayyyys struggle when I travel 😭 thanks for the tips babe
This is so helpful! I’m at Flight Attendant on private jets and I feel like I eat horribly with the pilots who prefer cheap food or barbecue LOL

Dr. Mona Vand But I still need you to make a video on electrolytes
larabar is full of sugar, carbs and not very good for you, 15g of net carbs, not good for you. are you keto?
