I love Dr. Gundry and have gotten friends and family on board. But honestly it's getting hard to find food to eat and even harder to find snacks. THIS VIDEO REALLY HELPS!
That's Because of the way the food supply has been designed in the rich world, if soughrnham instead of wheat was the primary grain oft grown around the world we won't be having an issue and it's the same with every food
@ gigir6761 Some foods he recommends are extravagant rarities. I can’t recall ever having seen basil seeds in a shop shelve, not to mention organic basil seeds. Nonetheless some suggestions (like steam/pressure cooking chickpeas to get rid of lectins) are truly good advices. P.S.: Dr Alan Mandell recommends Chia seeds because they contain soluble fiber, which is great for microbiome. Dr Gundry says they contain Omega 3s. Others say they’re rich in iron.
@@toconnor6811 He is mainly talking to people who are trying to overcome major diseases. His diet is really strict, but it works, especially for autoimmune diseases.
Too many experts, Dr. Gundry seems to disapprove of Chia Seeds yet Dr. Mandell lauds the positives of Chia Seeds and promotes their use. Both on YT but with opposite opinions on certain foods.
@Hevva67 He's being paid by suckers who believe his LIES. Don't be fooled, he's real smooth and slick, which is probably why you like him. He's all folksy and happy happy, but I'm telling you he's a pathological LIAR.
I add a scoop of Vital Reds to my plain sheep, goat or coconut yogurt. Delicious!!! And… sometimes I’ll add HALF a scoop of Dr Gundry’s chocolate protein powder. It’s like eating chocolate pudding!!! ❤. I’ll also add a small handful of pine nuts, walnuts and pistachios … YUM!
Dear Doctor Grundy, where can i find your lectin free snack list, I'm doing well following your suggestions on health, however i enjoy a snack during the day, I'm asking for your healthy lectin free snack list, thank you so much Doctor Grundy ❤ love you Doc.
This might sound like nonsense to a lot of people, but for a person that has had allergies since childhood, skin reactions, GI discomfort and joint pain, this makes total sense. I have systematically tested the foods that I have been suspecting made me react in a bad way (mostly listed by Dr. Gundry) and eliminated them from my diet completely or at least limit them to very special occasions and I have seen a major improvement in my skin, gut, allergies and joint pain. Sometimes is hard to detect, because a certain food can cause a reaction to you immediately but others might make a reaction a couple of days later or after reaching a certain amount or frecuency. I think there is no a one solution fits all, but I suggest you start testing and paying attention on the food you eat and how your body reacts to it, so you can start discarding the ones that make you bad, Dr. Gundry provides a good list to start with.
I agree with you. I’ve also tested it and it’s usually people that are compromised with Gi issues or some sort of arthritis. Lectin free or low lectin diet is so beneficial
There are different types of sunflower oil and processing. I would gather his products contain, high oleic sunflower oil, which is considered to be healthy as opposed to linoleic sunflower oil which is not. To understand you have to read up on the why's and how's.
A2 milk comes from a variety of different cows, most of our store milk comes from Holstein cattle, buy Jersey cow milk or goat, both are available in grocery stores.
@CookieMonster-- unfortunately many baby formulas first two ingredients are a form of sugar and soy oil, basically poison from the start. Read the labels, we ordered ours from over seas .
Is pea protein concentrate okay? I know the difference is it’s dry separated opposed to isolate which is wet, but I does the concentrate contain less lectins?
He's done this to help himself and his patients with issues, many people are fine with these, especially if the body gets used to them and if they're cooked properly. E.g. pressure cooked, soaked, fermented. When I stopped eating them the swollen arthritic fingers went away.
Pressure canning beans is easy. Hummus is easy to make at home, I make some every week. Not familiar with Lectins, nor sure why they are not good for us, you didn't mention why.
That's what he's known for, caution towards lectins, people are familiar with wheat gluten intolerance, but aren't aware that it's just one of the glutenoids found in different grains, and glutenoids are one of the different lectins found in some grains, all legumes and members of the nightshades, and so on
Who ever heard of the seriously weird foods you recommend ? Are they only Available in California.? What happened to whole unprocessed foods ? For those of use smart enough to avoid chips?
Unfortunately, none of the approved snacking products mentioned are available here in Costa Rica (except for some nuts, A2 yogurts and obviously green bananas)
Dude, you promote Sacha inchi? Do you realize how expensive that is? Sacha, cashew, macadamia, butters, your overpriced olive oil.. do you think ppl make millions a year like you do? You need Jesus man You would have ppl spending hundreds a week on this stuff, I know I used to work at whole foods. It's crazy expensive
I would imagine that people having issues with their health are already having the joy sucked out, and someone offering a way to make it better is a good thing.
It's a lot of information... things I've never even heard of before. A bit overwhelming... you think you're eating healthy but it appears you can do better. Can I suggest Dr. Gundry open a grocery store... wouldn't that be nice and easy. 😉
Every video I check out half way. These videos are too long, slow and if one follows you consistently they also realize your message is inconsistent in some areas. Make quick, easy to swallow and maybe supported by some graphics to drive the message home more clearly. And while you are at it please drop the distracting glasses. We are here to feel better not to judge your wardrobe. 😊

Pistachios are one of my favorites, and they are pretty easy to find even in gas stations when you're traveling.
@gigi This video was not at all helpful. This guy is out of control. I think all you can eat in his mind for snacks is cardboard

Dirty seeds! dun Der cheap !
The siete chips spiked my glucose higher than it's ever been in my life!!
It's amazing how so much of what you recommend is not very accessible or very expensive.
Ironic, isn't it.

Go eat the cheap, easy to find stuff. See how much that costs in the long run.
Where in the world will I find those seeds? Let me guess! those seeds are very expensive. ☹️🙁
Pili nuts are very healthy for you but at $25 a pound...

I ike chips and make my own by dehydrating sweet potatoes and make my own dips and hummus.
What about sprouted pumpkin seeds? Does the sprouting make a difference?

Dr.Grundy what about Buffala milk yogurt. From Venezuela.
does pressure cooking reduce lectins in other foods as well?
Yes, he recommends pressure cooking for lots of high lectin foods.
Very cool Spectacles!!!!
Sunflower oil in the Gundry supplements is not even mentioned here.
There are different types of sunflower oil and processing. I would gather his products contain, high oleic sunflower oil, which is considered to be healthy as opposed to linoleic sunflower oil which is not. To understand you have to read up on the why's and how's.
High oleic sunflower oil is different.
Oooh I wish he’d spotlight those Masa chips cooked in beef tallow!
So all the healthy alternatives are impossible to find in a normal grocery store. Sorgum popcorn? Like have you ever seen that anywhere?
Anyone know anything about A2 yogurt? I’ve been buying the A2 plain yogurt from Whole Foods.

Monk fruit is my sugar substitute ❤❤❤❤

Hi Doctor Gundry
Always focussing on lectins
What about oxalates which also causing gut issues
Need to clarify Dr.Gundry
How Les sprouting seeds effect the lectin content in for example, sunflower seeds?
How about the Neu5Gc in goat and sheep cheese ? also the yoghurts ? its in smaller amounts to red meats but still there...
Thanks dr Gundry ❤
I was headed to Amy’s drive thru last night however I read that they cooked with sunflower oil so I didn’t go, I can’t risk it right now
What ever get in canteen i eat and work hard at times 10 to 12 hrs and very fit.
Can you please give us some choices that comes from regular stores like Walmart.
My parents bought way too much of the toxic food for our family growing up thinking it was healthy because it matched a food group.
Same
But i found that organic canned chickpeas are compressed and reduces the lectins...
So green bananas are what we're supposed to eat?
Only air is lectin free so eat air and drink water thats it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Howesome video :) did you guys figure a map of légumes ordered by lectins concentration ?
on the chips , what if you eat less amount per serving ?
Please my daughter of 35 years
Snores loudly .so what is the problem if I too snores .what do we do to get out .
What if you put the chick peas in Mason jars then pressure can them at 11 psi? Will that remove the lectins ?
Soak them 48 hrs then pressure cooked.
Availability and price is an issue both sides of my family are long lived in their 90s and they don't eat lectin free foods, I wonder why
