      @@Eating_4_Health people whose health has not broken down or have not suffered the hell of autoimmune issues just don’t understand. He says nearly 3/4 of his practice is now autoimmune sufferers. He’s trying to help us. It’s ridiculous how abused he is. It never ceases to amaze me people with absolutely no experience with autoimmunity or the symptoms we have in common set themselves up as the all-knowing critics. I sincerely believe Dr. Gundry is allowing the science & data to guide this process. He’s not a quack. I’ve gotten more relief following his guidelines than anything else in 30 + years.

      @@Eating_4_Health most people have problems with certain foods because they have dysbiosis. By avoiding otherwise heathy foods you’re not addressing the root cause - you are just compromising your diet, making the dysbiosis even worse. But hey, there’s always dr Gundry’s $80 supplement Lectin Guard to help you, and while he’s duping people like you, he’s laughing all the way to the bank!

      @@PeevyMctweevy It may sound like 'pseudoscience' to you. It's very simple. If you have gut issues, most people I know my age do, just read his book CAREFULLY and try it. If it works for you, that's the proof. I took it like the skeptic I was. I tried it and this totally works for me. It's not immediate, but the gut misery is over! It is a matter of constantly studying this protocol and being consistent. Thank G-d I feel SO much better and look younger than my 61 years. Thank you Dr. Gundry! 14:45

    I have read & researched Gundry’s information. The whole issue of health & autoimmune issues comes down to gut health. As Gundry explains in this video - antibiotics- their overuse - especially in our food supply is breaking down our gut health. I am one of those people who has suffered & been in search of how to fix my health issues my entire adult life. My recent doctor could not understand how I could eat a paleo diet, and have such awesome blood work, & have obesity, high BP, and Hashimotos. She wanted to bang her head against the wall when the fibromyalgia & RA symptoms started. I hurt all the time.
    I found Gundry’s book while researching last October. I really can’t eat most lectins. So now Im trying to fix a permeable gut issue- and Gundry is one part of that.
    The antibiotics when I was 4 and had tonsillitis for s year prior to my surgery kicked it all off. The older I got & the more antibiotics I took, the worse I got even after learning about probiotics. It’s been 30 years and finally Im starting to see how I got here.
    For “healthy “ people they may think Gundry is a quack but for those of us with autoimmune issues.. a God-send!

  • @abdulnaas
    @abdulnaas 25 дней назад

    Tolerance levels can also vary widely from person to person. So, people who have irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, or other GI sensitivities are more likely to experience discomfort after consuming lectins than others.
    If a lectin-rich food isn’t properly prepared, it can cause a lot of distress. But that’s true of a lot of other things, too. So, before ruling out lectin-rich foods entirely, I’d suggest examining the preparation methods first and the amount being consumed. Then, try eliminating potentially problematic foods and adding them back one at a time, to see if you can identify which one is causing the distress.

      I've found that independent local labs now have services that allow customers to order their own lab work to be done directly at lab facilities rather than waiting for physicians to order. So, you pay directly to lab you're ordering from in what's called on-demand lab. And instead of doing blood or other lab work on you as a patient, labs welcome you in as a customer having most of the same work done. Call around to locals.

    An example to understand the problem:
    Raw kidney beans contain high levels of a lectin called phytohaemagglutinin.
    If you eat them raw or undercooked, they can cause extreme nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. As few as five beans can cause a response.
    A hemagglutinating unit (hau) is a measure of lectin content. In their raw form, red kidney beans contain 20,000-70,000 hau. Once they’re thoroughly cooked, they contain only 200-400 hau, which is considered a safe level .
    When properly cooked, red kidney beans are a valuable and nutritious food that shouldn’t be avoided.

    If everything literally is bad to eat in your opinion why God created it in first place? In Genesis , 1st book in the Bible it says that everything that God created was good, plants, fruits, all kinds of vegetables for the man to eat. But your man made products that are expensive, those you want the public to drink or consume. Those for you are good for you. Forgive me to be brutally honest. But all extremes are bad.

      I agree nothing was wrong with any of God's good food until mankind altered these foods and altered the structure, also it has caused these fruits and vegetables to not have the vitamins and minerals they once had!
