    Thankyou, definitely going to try the smoothie, I'd love to eat my plant based, but I'm intolerant to so many foods, pulses, legumes and quinoa, and I try to avoid grains, I do eat mainly plant based and rely on nuts, but those salads look so yummy!

    Loved this ☺️💗 question, If you’re intermittent fasting, about what time do you start eating in the morning? I do 16:8 pretty much every day, have been for ages (even by accident before I knew what IF was) but I love the idea of eating heaps of fruit in the morning...?

    You should look into a berkey water filter. They come in different sizes, and filters everything even flouride. You could take pond water and make it the purest water to drink. They are AMAZING!!!

    I'm a big fan of Banza. It's so good. The mouth feel is like regular semolina pasta. Never tried red lentils I will give it a try. Quinoa for breakfast...I hate oatmeal like I'm repulsed by it. Is the texture the same as cooked oats or is it still the quinoa texture?

    Spinach has oxalic acid which binds to calcium and prevents the absorption. It also can lead to kidney stones I think. Anyway idk if I would eat so much raw spinach, as it seems hard to digest. The beginning smoothie wasn’t very calorie dense and I could use more fats/protein.

    Hi! Just wanted you to know that you should still wash the "pre-washed" veggies yourself. There were multiple times I still found bugs inside of the box. I'm sure you'll find it at least a few times.

    Glad to see you aren't trying to pass off lemon water as alkaline on this video... Im not a MD, but I'm pretty sure if you put a pH stick in your lemon water it would be acidic. So good for you in revamping how you present your 1st thing in the morning hydration.

      The pH level of your blood is tightly regulated - it can not be changed by diet.

    I would like to try your gree juice recipe, but would like to make enough for a few days at a time and freeze it. I have been looking into how to store the juice and was thinking about using mason jars, but the lids get rusty over time.       You'll get there. It's taken me about a year and a half and I'm half way there. Some little things I have wrote in my journal that help me are
      *Only look back to see how far you've come
      *Nothing taste as good as skinny feels
      *Not wishing for it. Working for it
      *Is is one day, or day 1?
      *Remember why you started.
      I have more but you get the idea. I read them a lot!

    Dr Gregor did a video about how stevia can cause dna issues/mutations. Not as safe as once though. Also, every youtuber should get one of those handy dandy lemon/lime squeeze contraptions. So much more juice and you don't have to get it all over your fingers/counters.

    You also mentioned traveling and protein bars? I was wondering about hydration as you travel? Have you heard of a product called liquid IV? It is Something you add to (powder pouch) water bottle that is suppose to double hydrate you? Do you think it's safe or good for you? As you travel by plane? Or even to help in the summer when you sweat more......

      The human body has a system to let you know when you need to hydrate: it's called thirst. Yes, the bottled water industry has done a good job of convincing the public they always need to "stay hydrated", etc. But it's silly. It's not going to hurt you if you get a little dehydrated.

    Hi Mona! I lovvve cacao powder but when searching for the right one, I've noticed the CA prop 65 warning labeled on it on quite a lot of brands. I was wondering if you could give me some insight on that and which one to buy (besides the Thrive Market brand).

    I use Stevia, my daughter claims to not like it and uses locally made honey from the Amish community. I know you're vegan and do not use it. However I would rather she use honey than Sugar. Is honey any better for her than sugar is?

    Doc you really need to try Penta water. Just one bottle a day and drink it really really cold. Not after 5 pm it may keep you awake. Add it with your regular M Valley. ;)

    Cucumber and Tomato is traditional in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern culture but are a bad digestive combination. Every thing else is good. I'd go cucumbers and onion with cilantro and lemon or lime, olive oil

    Hi Dr. Mona! Question for ya! I've been struggling with the smoothie. I make it every morning but my smoothie separates into two parts: a yummy juice at the bottom of the smoothie and this green pulp at the top. The green pulp stuff is gross hahaha is there a trick to making my ENTIRE smoothie stay together as a juice and not separate? THANK YOU!

    Hi Mona, so I've been watching your videos for about a month now and I feel like trying some of the ideas that you suggest. I come from a VERY "meat and potato" type of family so making the switch or transition is going to be hard. I am going to try baby steps and for sure not going to 100% give up on meat but I could use some alternatives now that I'm 40 and it seems harder to try and sustain weight and I guess I would call it overall bodily health with just exercise. Not to mention exercising like I used to do when I was in my 20s is next to impossible now lol. Anyway, I hope this makes sense cause I seriously never comment on things, but felt like I should let you know you are reaching out to guys like me in Texas, who recognize that you are not fake and have a genuine solid personality along with being funny at times too.

    But is buying Farmers Market does it mean organic or just local? Shouldn’t farmers market also state certified organic?
