    Question: wouldn't it be better to have the heads of the rivets on the INSIDE, and hammer the shafts down on the OUTSIDE?
    Especially if you don't have a pneumatic hammer, and have to do it the medieval way, with ball peen hammer and muscle?

    • @DrawbridgeProps
      @DrawbridgeProps  4 года назад

      most armour is peened on the inside from what i have seen historically. i'm totally that guy in museums crawling on the floor with my camera trying to get pictures on the inside of armour.

    Is that salt your rubbing in to the helmet after applying the Jax?

    Hey I know this is a day late, but if you get the chance to answer, is that baby powder your sprinkling over the jax, and what purpose does that serve?

  • @jeffreyrosenfeld7543

    It's historically accurate too, nice.

    Fantastic helmet following with interest. Do you have a link to where I can get hold of a rivet sets you use in the video? I don't see it on the list of equipment. Cheers

      Try this link. I use the 1/8", 5/16" and 3/16" sets the most and all have the .401" stud for my air hammer.

      Unfortunately no pattern is free, but luckily they are very cheap. Those only cost involved is a pen, paper, and a bit of time.
