As a former 911 call taker, please just call the fire department if you smell gas. Turn off the appliance if you can, DO NOT open the doors and windows, and just get out of the house until they arrive. The fire department can come and check for gas leaks and carbon monoxide. If something needs fixing then the gas company will come out. The reason you shouldn't air out the house is because the fire department has an easier time determining the source of the issue. Just get out of the house and call them.

Omg Kristin! I started dating a 24 year old (I’m 34) around the same time as you, and it was the best relationship I’ve ever had! I brought him home to meet my family, which I haven’t done since I was 18. We were great together and had such a loving relationship, but I started noticing the age gap differences especially after we traveled for a week out of the country and that’s when I realized he needs to gain more life experience. (I’m a Capricorn too and established in my own life/career)
So when you made a comment “you really get to know someone when you travel together” in your Greece episode, I got the sense that you may be in my shoes…
After the break up, I said the same thing and wrote it in my diary “this was an amazing relationship, I do not regret a thing, I’ve learned more about myself and the fact that I was able to attract an amazing guy let’s me know that I’ve done the work on myself and that I’m a step closer to meeting the man of my dreams because I got to experience this amazing relationship and this amazing guy.” We broke up 2 months ago
    Kristin we got this!!!
    You are not alone!

The first time that Jesus came, He came as the sacrificial Lamb of God.

      +
Jesus dying on the cross as the ultimate and eternal sacrifice, who shed His blood for the whole world.
      +
(Hebrews 9:22 > And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.)
      +
Old Testament law required the sacrifice of an animal to cover sins, preferably a spotless lamb in order to have your sins covered. This was a continual and ongoing process.
      +
Jesus was the last and only sacrifice that actually forgave a persons sins, past, present, and future!

[10]-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)
      +
(Romans 10:13 > For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.)
      +
Right now is the "church age" or age of grace!

(Ephesians 2:8-9 > [8]-For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not oof yourselves: it is a gift of God:
[9]-Not of works, lest any man should boast.)
      +
When you give yourself to the Lord, you are given the Holy Spirit / the Comforter. It indwells you and seals you until the day of redemption when the Lord returns for His bride, which is the Church, those who believe and invite the Lord into their lives.
      +
And if you do not do this, then the Lord is coming back as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Who will be coming to pass judgement on a fallen world.
      +
This time period known to the lost world as, Armageddon or the Great Tribulation will actually destroy over two thirds of the worlds population.
      +
But if you are a saved / born again believer, (John 3:3-5) you will be raptured out by the Lord before this world judgement starts.

19:51 I think this [almost always having your friends around during your relationship] was a problem. I get you love being around your friends and everything, but I sense they’re being used as security blankets and it’s not healthy for your love life. Group dates are okay once in a while, especially the first date; however if I’m dating someone and getting to know that person, I want to spend time only with that individual - not him/her and their friends, family, etc. It’s not a good atmosphere for building trust, seeing how this person acts without their friends present as backup, etc. You want to be in a relationship with one person - not feel as if you’re dating multiple people at the same table. It’s distracting and not helpful.

I will be the one to say a different opinion.
I have been with my husband 7 years,
I met him at 23 and he was 36, same gap.
He had children as Kristin and I had 1 of my own. We have been together 7 years now, we have a child together and we are a huge blended family and we are very happy and successful.
I don’t agree with breaking up with him, because you feel you’re holding him back. Life is about choices and he was choosing you, you also can’t assume what he should have in life cause to him you were his life. Yes we have had some age things but it’s nothing crazy you just keep going.
You have to remember you only have one life, and you never know when your life can end in all reality and you need to live your life for you and what makes you happy not what the world thinks of your guys or anyone else. People are going to always talk, but those people aren’t you, paying your bills and raising your family, they are people like me who know nothing about you but what you share. I truly think you too were a amazing couple and you were so happy and in love and even without knowing you as a person, seeing you from laguna to today I’ve follower you i even owned those on dvd! I loved your story and I’ve never seen you happier. I think you should really think about it and do what makes you truly happy and him, i think this is not the end :(

After real life reveals itself, she has to take a close look at the future, and the picture perhaps looked differently than the fun of having someone on her arm to do fun things, etc. Real life for Kristen is school and activities for the kids, house bills, running a company, holidays and time split with his family…I’m sure Mark was great for the “dating” part of her life but the long term relationship, his age absolutely was a factor.

A bit confusing. These are things you knew way before getting this deep into a relationship with him and briefly touched on at one point. Even the talk about children, you said y’all had discussed and were pretty much on the same page.
This is really unfortunate after all of that. Maybe things will change. Hoping for the best!

I’ve been saying it since she first introduced us to him. It was just a phase. I was in the exact same position and dated a guy 15 years younger than me. Except for I’m in my early 40s. He was my best friend and one of the best relationships maybe the best relationship I’ve ever had. We had so much fun together and I really loved him. We dated for 4 1/2 years, I knew within the first seven months of dating that it was a fairytale. I had the wisdom, wherewithal and experience to know it wasn’t going to be forever even though I wanted it to be.

Exactly but Kristin clearly didn’t want to string him along like that knowing he wasn’t gonna be the right one for her.
