- Welcome, fellow anglers, to a close-up look at my pride and joy, the Excel Catfish Pro 21 - hands down, the biggest catfish boat I have owned. This bad boy isn't just a vessel; it's a customized haven for every catfish adventure.
Feel the quality of the AquaTraction flooring beneath your feet, personalized with my logo and a nod to Okuma Fishing USA. The MulTBars proudly display my Smackdown Catfishing Rod holders, a testament to the battles they've seen and the victories they've secured.
Navigating the shallows becomes second nature with the Minn Kota Talons, complemented by the raw power of a 150hp Suzuki outboard, my trusty companion on every fishing escapade. Up front, the Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor doubles as an anchor and a subtle guide, helping me maneuver with precision. The added stabilizer ensures it stays in top shape, even on the road.
Explore the depths with confidence using the Garmin fish finder, and stay tuned for the upcoming Panoptix addition to take my trophy catfishing to new heights.
For the well-being of my catch, both livewells are equipped with aerators, and thanks to lithium batteries, everything on board runs efficiently - except for the Suzuki outboard, which dances to its own rhythm.
Storage is a game-changer, and Excel went above and beyond by adding two extra storage boxes and a rod locker. It's not just about gear; it's about meeting Coast Guard regulations for those oversized type 1 PFDs. As a fishing guide, compliance is non-negotiable, and this boat ensures I meet those standards without sacrificing style.
The Excel Catfish Pro 21 has proven itself time and again, handling shallow drafts like a champ. Join me on RUclips for the upcoming catfishing escapades, or maybe even tag along on a guided trip. We're about to create memories aboard this vessel that'll echo through every fishing tale. Get ready for some monster catfish action and tight lines ahead!

Great looking boat setup! How about some musky action!!!!!
Thanks! Funny thing the boat has already seen some Musky action. I let Cody borrow it for a trip because he is having issues with his boat. He put his clients on this nice Musky in my boat: instagram.com/p/C0KrtU0L1HW/
hell ya man nice boat
Thanks!
Nice boat.
Thanks!
I like this flooring a lot and my carpet is very old. I will try to make it one or 2 more year but will definitely install something like this instead of carpet in a couple of years
This type of "carpet" is really nice! I like it way better than stuff like LineX.
@@TNRVG is it easy to wash? Looks like it is soft and may absorb some slime..
The AquaTraction is more durable and is thinner than SeaDek. It's more like Hydro Turf except AquaTraction installed differently using some type of paint on epoxy. Hydro Turf adhesives like a sticker.
Good luck with the talons. You better keep some tools in the boat so you can unbolt them when they break.
Already removed and sold them hah! Never had an issues however I couldn't justify the price for what I was using them for. Now I have a diddy pole.
@@TNRVG good move. There is a reason minkota came out with raptors as soon as the power pole patent ran out.
@@cjr4497 I may try them on my next boat!
Very nice boat, just not a fan of casting decks. In my section of the Tennessee river the barge wakes would flip you off that deck in a heart beat.
Almost all "catfish" boats in my price range are just giant deck boats. SeaArk, Lowe, Xpress, Excel, G3, etc. Only Deep V boats like Tracker or Lund have something similar to what I want however they draft to deep or start to leave my price range (20+ foot G3 is hitting $50k these days). Hell I don't know a guide around here with a no-deck boat. You have to look at northwestern boats for what I want and you are talking about. Wooldridge, etc, which is around $80k. If my Tundra had not screwed up on me I would have a Wooldridge right now lol! Maybe all I would have as it had nearly 300,000 miles on it.
See you got rid of g3
@@wynettekell-lo1bo Yeah I’ve through a few boats. The G3 was a little to tippy for my taste,
