@@CelebrityLyrics There’s only one or 2 electric boats at every boat show. It just takes to much power to push a boat. The batteries just won’t last long at all. Maybe take a look at hybrids!

Well the salesman is not going to like your impression of him when he sees this haha. Suzukis are better than they have been in the past. They are still not Yamahas, but close. You can get an extended warranty with Yamahas or Mercurys that puts them at the same length warranty as the Suzukis (5 years). All good brands, but specific models of engines are much better than others. Do not just look at the brand. Look at the specific engine model.

Suzuki motors are just fine. They are usually cheaper than Yammys and have the longest warranty in the business.

Outboards are the affordable boats that’s why.
I have replaced my inboards and I/O’s for around 5k direct from GM. Try that with any outboard… 30k is average here.
