Amen brother on Salt strong. I’ve been with them for the last eight years and that app is the bomb. I thought you might be a part of it since I saw your hat and a bunch of videos.
The only half decent photo I could find of a small but custom aluminum boat. I think it’s a really cool looking boat. Would love to build something similar
Bris makes a better 12'6" inflatable and can use a 25hp. weighs 180lbs and 1675lbs capacity. mine goes 16mph with a 9.9. A treble in the inflatable isn't an issue if you have patches on board
@@ricg2011 I bought mine with a very low hour 9.9 used sight unseen. It did well in mexico. 3 with gear won't go on plane but 2 no problem. ruclips.net/video/trlXeRa_D8s/видео.htmlsi=OxZOI7_YdGOFC0Ov
I used to own the BRIS 9.8, before selling it and buying the 11' catamaran. I assure you that I have A LOT more floor space in my 11' cat than you have in your 12'6" dinghy. The cat floor is significantly wider, and there's no forward air chamber sucking up floor space in front. The cat style was a game-changer for me. It is a lot more stable as well. After owning both, I'd never go back to the old dinghy-style inflatable.
Nirvana watersports has the striker skiff(same thing) they only had two left when I emailed them a month ago. But they did say they'd get more later. Brooklyn kayak has a skiff also that could be another option if you wanted to go the Hoodoo Hero route.
I have owned a BRIS catamaran for a couple years now. I will attest to the fact that it is 'fun as hell' on the water!!! No joke. I have a Suzuki 15HP on mine. I can hit 16 MPH in it with two adults and all our gear aboard. I have pulled adults behind it on a knee board. No problem getting them up. I've had as many as three adults and a couple kids aboard. The weight rating on this boat is accurate. You could put a hippo in it, and it wouldn't drop an inch in the water. If you want to fish off it, it is very stable even with a couple adults standing up in it. No issues at all. I highly recommend the BRIS cat! Prior to the cat, I had one of the BRIS 9.8' inflatables. If you look at square footage of usable floor space, the cat has about double the space the 'normal' dinghy-style boats have. The lack of a forward air chamber is a HUGE bonus when it comes to usable space. That's why I sold the 9.8' dinghy and bought the cat style.
one thing... most people looking for boats under 2k (including me) would prefer used because it lowers the price. I get that normally it is better to have a new boat but we don't care enough

Have had a hero 130 for a couple years. GPS, nav lights, micro power pole , and 6hp and Torqeedo 1103c. Only negative is that is a solo vessel.
What about the boat on your thumbnail?

I fell out at 4 big gals .. videos are very informative
Just FYI. The hoodoo hero is discontinued. Whatever is out there at vendors is what's left. Not sure if they can do anything about warranty either.
I did not know this. Thank you! That’s a very important thing to know.

So what year is your pond prowler?
I don’t know it was used but it was the pond prowler 2. Older
Top 5 used link?

basically anyone who wants a new boat is spending much more than 2k
Rokkit fishes out of an inflatable. He throws lures and catches a bunch of fish.
he uses "true kit" inflatables, those are above 2k usd. don't forget a motor.
@@MrMxm13 yeah just saying he throws lures and hasn’t had issues with it being inflatable
