Fine boat upgrade! When your job is fishing, yt, charters, tournaments, you need all your tackle to meet all your needs. And a boat is tackle in the sense of it.
Now that I'm also on a river and not just salt, I've added an aluminum 18', 12 degree V-bow, side console to the stable.

9:51 On my ProCat I put an accessory battery under the driver side console. Lights, graphs, filming lights, random accessories, and camera gear can really drain a starter battery fast. Charging it can be a challenge unless you run a wire to a 5 bank charger in the back (or 4 bank, let the outboard charge the starter battery).
The sea ark has always been my dreamboat. Putting 2 girls through college has put it out of my price range though. Youve got the ultimate boat,the beautiful girl AND the awesome pooch. Can you tell im a little envious? Keep up the good work bud.❤

Sweet boat! While I appreciate the stableness of these type boats, I will never like the giant livewells in back. This means that you have to step up every time you want to go for your rod and fight a fish. Also, these hulls just don't handle big water as well as something with a sharper angle (but that's also a tradeoff in stability and skinny water). Ultimate catfish boat is whatever you think it is and the situation you fish in. I wish I could have 3 or 4 boats then I would have all scenarios covered. :)
You are right! I wish I had 3 or 4 boats for each situation! Crappie/bass, catfish on the Mississippi, and a mud boat for hunting!
Thanks man! It's tough to have it all. I thought about going with something similar to what you have, but the lack of a big livewell was one of the reasons I didn't. A boat that does a lot of things well doesn't do anything great, but a versatile rig gives a guy more options.

I like that boat. I think you will really like that suzuki engine. Those things are as reliable as you can get. Those and yamaha. Might not be the fastest engines, but ill take reliability over speed anyday!

My followers would know I would be griping about that back deck being in the way. If only the livewell and rear deck was optional! They did do good removing the side rod holders (useless for cat rods in the ProCat). Still a nice boat! I miss windshields.

I'll still be doing that, I'll just be in a kayak or in Ryan's boat. I would have been out more this year, we just haven't had any rain and it really seems to have hurt the flathead population.

haha hopefully in favor of not. I've owned 5 boats in my life now, and only one has been a jet. Hopefully I step back into the prop life without any hickups.
@RiverCertified lol I've learned my lesson went from a prop to a jet and well with the prop I went through multiple props before I said I'm gonna buy a jet. Where I fish in susquehanna river jet is almost a necessity unless you enjoy buying props and bottom ends lol. Good luck lol

Great Boat ! I was just telling one of my fishing buddies. I think the SeaArk would be the best boat for what I do mainly,fishing pool 14 in the Mississippi river so this would do everything I want it to do , Catfishing ,Walleye ,panfish . That Bimini and inclosure is going to be sweet! Congratulations !
It would make a darn good boat for all of that I think. I've done a few crappie trips in it so far and I plan on walleye fishing and crappie fishing out of it on the Mississippi this summer. I LOVE the enclosure!
I've shore fished pool 14 but we were mostly pool 19 and 20 on the water. Our fish camp was just below the junction of the DesMoines and Mississippi, pool 20. Had family that commercial fished the dam and south. I've moved to Florida, work the salt, but got to missing the river so now my backyard is a river bank.
You seem surprised by the jet boat. Here in Idaho that’s 90% of what you see. Unless it’s some crazy 28 ft twin then almost all jet boats will run sub 3 inches. I can tell you you’re gonna miss the hell out of the jet boat 😅 more then you think

Minn Kota used to offer a 4.3hp bowmount. I think it was rated at 65lbs thrust. That was a big one in the late 90's. The InFisherman guys used them on their boats back then. Tiller handle too, if I recall...
Nice boat not being from around your neck of the woods i was wondering if your area or areas around where you fish are being fished commercially for pay lakes and if so do you see a impact on the fishing i saw a video where one family on the Missouri River cought a million pounds of blue cats last year i live in kentucky and they have put a size restriction on our fish and as always great video you do a great job with your videos and content of the videos

I will say this. Watching a 40 lb flathead come in and eat your bait is pretty darn cool. They look like a giant slithering slug on the screen.
