I also have a big turbo Ford sitting in the garage, and my dream's of putting turbo on my Honda I think just came true. I saw another one of your videos where you are talking about it doesn't have the most power but who cares. I completely agree, I love my Accord, again it doesn't have the most power, but man it's fun. I'm always afraid of breaking something on my big turbo Ford, but on the Honda I just keep pushing it, so thx for the videos. Next time just have a machine shop hone it .010/.25mm. That'll take care of your blow-by issues. Dingle balls and 3 finger stuff that you get at the parts store cannot get the bores straight, and they can't get enough depth in the finish for the correct amount of oil to seal the rings. Decking Honda Blocks especially is normally important with the open deck design. Block guards also help, up to about 500 whp.

    Is there a way to get in contact with you. I’m baffled on an issue with my f22b2. No matter what, as soon as I start the car, the temp gauge goes straight to hot. And stays there. Even on cold starts. I’ve changed the thermostat, the ECT sending unit which controls the temp in the gauge. And I’m still drawing blanks.

    • @ThatAccordGuy
      @ThatAccordGuy  5 лет назад

      So you changed the single wire sensor that goes into the head under the distributor? If you changed that one, it could be a wiring problem. Either a short to ground in the sender wire that goes directly to the gauge or the gauge could be bad as well. Do you have access to a multimeter?

    • @marcusmccomb1789

      @@marcusmccomb1789 try running a wire directly from the gauge to the sender. The gauge is a 3 wire system. Power, ground, and the signal wire. If you replace the wire temporarily, and it works, then that wire is shorted to ground. Or multimeter the signal wire and see if it's shorted to ground. If you want to see the car, there's other videos lol. This is explaining how I built it. Thanks for the criticism tho 👍🏼

    Is it possible to put a turbo on a 2007 honda accord?

      I'm sure that it is, but unfortunately I don't have any experience and am not the person to ask. Not sure what you'd be tuning it with that would be your biggest concern.

      You can turbo a k24 and make really good power. But the process is much different with that engine.
