Honestly yeah I feel like an LSD would take off at least half a second on his 0-60 with both wheels putting power down, might be the next mod he really needs to do. Not to mention it would probably make the launch much more consistent
@@Mizsteakz I think a few others have said it, but on a FWD car it will reduce torque steer and improve 0-60 massive. On a rear wheel drive car, it does much the same but stabilises the rear so much more. Confidence will improve greatly. Personally, I think you're going about trying to justify the total invested cost all wrong. IMO, the trick is to just NEVER do the math, then you never feel bad about spending more in mods than the car originally cost! If you do end up doing the math though, the trick is to compare it to more expensive hobbies. For example, when I felt bad about spending as much as I did on the wheels on my Fit, I told myself, "This is still cheaper than owning a horse" and didn't feel so guilty :) Great vid BTW, would love to see the accord at a prepped track someday
It's always worth doing the math. Value is subjective so even if he spent more than the car is worth it can still be worth it to him. But he should keep track of the spend and manage costs. I get that they were a sponsor and all, but those tires aren't connecting for anything. If you saw the tread from the last video, there were huge channels and would equate to only half tread on the ground of the full width...

You should put a Quaife ATB in that, it not only helps you put the traction down when you accelerate but has the same effect on the front brakes, you can feel it share the load when one wheel tries to stop all the braking transfers to the other wheel with grip before the ABS kicks in, the steering wheel gives a little kick to let you know what is going on. I own a Pro charged 12 3.7 mustang Circle d convertor ect... 444rwhp. 11.5 @ 121mph Ive been able to get to 60 mph in about 3.8-3.9 seconds on drag radials. On 275 nitto street tires the best on street Ive ever gotten is 4.4 seconds to 60 mph due to horrendous wheel spin after 4500 rpm- 7700rpm when my P1x makes boost. Im sure if you got some drag radial it would take 1/2 second off your 0-60 easy. Im betting high 4s. Awesome video
Needs Lsd with drag slicks. Or AWD with sticky tires. Doesn't hook. It's easily a 10 sec car with the right setup. There are light stock drag cars with just weight reduction and stock motor running race fuel in high 10's 1/4 mile. Trust me all you need is the right setup and that car will move down the quarter mile strip. The v6 is great. Awesome car. Great build enjoy it. My N/A FWD setup hooks and it's fully built. You should swap in a j35A8 from a TL Type S or Acura RL (IIRC, all RLs from 08-09 came with the A8) they come with 280-290hp and forged crankshaft and connecting rods factory and J32A2 heads for better flow combined with a j37 plenum (larger diameter Throttle) you would have a better base for that turbo kit. Everything bolts in with almost no mods necessary and wiring harness is plug and play. Also the manual from the TL type S has a LSD and a shorter 2nd gear to help with those launches. I've been loving this series 😊
First, I love your choice in vehicle, engine, et cetera I love just about everything you did since you decided to add a turbo! Is that you doing the welding of the turbo plumbing? That car is so dope and will outlive you 😂
Fantastic stuff. I hope he gets a 4th-Gen Acura TL with the SH-AWD. That’ll put down some serious acceleration times with the kind of mods he put on this accord.
Your times are great because your car is RWD. He’s gonna need a lot more work and prep to hit 4s even with drag radials
@@OnlyOriginalNinja 100% agree with you. I was just mentioning drag radials if he was gonna chase 0-60
Consider a Projector retrofit for your headlights. Morimoto Mini D2S 5.0 are a game changer for lighting up the road
Jseries sounds so gorgeous 😍
The races Reminds me of your built vs bought forza days
Needs Lsd with drag slicks. Or AWD with sticky tires. Doesn't hook. It's easily a 10 sec car with the right setup. There are light stock drag cars with just weight reduction and stock motor running race fuel in high 10's 1/4 mile. Trust me all you need is the right setup and that car will move down the quarter mile strip. The v6 is great. Awesome car. Great build enjoy it. My N/A FWD setup hooks and it's fully built. I wish you all the best My friend with your car. Much ❤ Honda Fam!
Best short shifter on the market is made by Acuity. The Hybrid one is good, but no where near the best.
Ok. 👏🏻…. Nothing against Honda’s, but I’m tired of all these fit, civic and accord videos. Make Fabium great again! We want to see more drift truck and cool off the wall builds! Love you bro! Keep it up!
🔥🤘🏻🇺🇸🦅🤘🏻🔥
You should swap in a j35A8 from a TL Type S or Acura RL (IIRC, all RLs from 08-09 came with the A8) they come with 280-290hp and forged crankshaft and connecting rods factory and J32A2 heads for better flow combined with a j37 plenum (larger diameter Throttle) you would have a better base for that turbo kit. Everything bolts in with almost no mods necessary and wiring harness is plug and play. Also the manual from the TL type S has a LSD and a shorter 2nd gear to help with those launches. I've been loving this series 😊
4:24 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ best sound
First, I love your choice in vehicle, engine, et cetera I love just about everything you did since you decided to add a turbo! Is that you doing the welding of the turbo plumbing? Now all you have to do is fix the traction problem and this car will be running great! Do you think it would help a lot if you got the SH-AWD system from an Acura?
Nice polygon bike 👌
I ride a santa cruz nomad 4
Time for an LSD? I would love to see you install an LSD on this trans and then take it to an actual prepped surface. Then lets see you do a real suspension set-up for the Volvo and take that to the drag strip as well. Your videos are awesome bro. keep up the great work my dude.
lowkey miss the mountain biking. never thought id say that
