Control deserved more attention in my opinion when it was released. The gameplay is great, but it’s concepts and zaniness, bizarre comedy and creepy pasta taken to an amazing level is just so unique in mainstream gaming. It’s like if you’ve put David Lynch, Nicolas Refn and Denis Villeneuve making a videogame together.

It's by far my favorite game, all the environmental storytelling, helping you unravel the mysteries of what happened in events of the game, but never actually showing exactly what happened, leaving it up to you, the player, to come to your own theories, and how there's all these nonsense paranatural scientific explanations that somehow make perfect sense, and the badass jedi-like powers are a huge bonus

Quantum was incredible at launch and the most next Gen at the time. Alan Wake 2 is recreating that awesome moment in time. Remedy belongs on the Mt Rushmore of game developers
The way that Quantum Break is underrated is almost criminial. Easily up the with Control. And the story and specially the visuals are top notch. I'm pretty sure it woul've received better, if it was not exclusive to Xbox but rather to PlayStation. 2015 was a rough time for Xbox One (rightfully so, but that doesn't make this Remedy game bad).
No need to bring the console war nonsense into this. The gameplay was quite average and the TV series format was inefficient and gets in the way of pacing. The review score was around 7 which is not that bad, but it was justified.
It's so inspiring that Sam has such energy and interest in every project after so many years! Max Payne was one of the first PC games in my life, and it was ideal for that time even for a 12 years old boy who obviously wasn't able to fully uppreciate this masterpiece. And Sam still brings his passion and vision to us in different ways, this man deserves respect.
Remedy is exactly the type of developers we need in 2023. They're not afraid to be experimental and to have fun with games and story telling. Quality wise, they are beyond any other developer in the industry. Looking forward to diving into Alan Wake 2 and reliving the moments in Max Payne when the remake releases.

Unpopular opinion but Max Payne 3 was as great as previous games. Yeah, it was more Hollywood'ish, there was no more of the personal drama, yet it felt so natural as final point of the series.
Sam Lake and Remedy is one of the greatest national treasures Finland has given to the world! It's amazing how long Remedy has been in business and how they have developed their craft. I've been kinda overlooking Remedy for too long, but in recent years I've gained a new appreciation for their games.
To me, the Swift Platform mission from Control is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in the past decade. The lead up, the music, the setting, all great!
Address unknown was such a captivating aspect of mp 1&2. Absolutely incredible addition. It's insane how simple audio narration, still frames, and simple sound effects can be so mesmerizing. It just bombarded my imagination as a kid playing through and seeing these.
Sam Lake's passion for creative storytelling is so refreshing in an era where so many game companies play it safe and every game feels like a copy/paste of another game that already exists. Quantum Break is one of my favorite games and I hope that they are able to get the IP back so they can officially start tying it into the Remedyverse. I would love for Jack, Alan, and Jesse to all meet each other - not just multiverse iterations of the characters.
The airport shootout in Max Payne 3 is in my top 3 favorite moments in remedy games. The music is paced so well to that action, the lyrics being tied to Max’s character is poetic.

It has a great story and still some of the best graphics ever...the problem is the short gameplay time, too many cutscenes + clunky combat feel.
