Great paddle! The upcoming Viva Pro Gen3 is even better! Kevlar surface with unibody construction. It has for me the best combination of power and control. It plays similar to the Ruby but with more pop. And the Gen3 will cost much less.
What’s the difference between gen 2 power and gen 3? Are they the same ? Also pop and control? What will be the price on gen3 and when is coming out? Thanks
This is absolutely the very best paddle at this price! I compare it to the Engage Pursuit Pro which I love at $250+. They are almost equal and I think the Hudef is slightly better. It blows away that piece of garbage made by Gearbox which I wasted $300 on a few months ago. If money is an issue or even if it isn't you should DEFINITELY BUY THIS PADDLE!!! Did I mention that it comes with a very nice carrying case as well for only $117.

This paddle is beautiful looking paddle . The lifetime warranty is such a rare thing . Thank you for making the choices on paddles much easier considering much there is to choose from now a days .
I am currently in the market for a new more powerful paddle andnthis has me second guessing my previous leaders. You have given me something to think about
The Viva Pro Gen3 has a Kevlar surface. Fantastic spin, power and pop. Also looks great! Plays similar to the Ruby but higher RPM’s, more pop and will cost $30 less.
I like the concise review, hitting the most important things we as the consumer are looking to understand about the paddle. I’ve been on the fence with this paddle for a little while now and I think it’s time to make the jump and give it a shot.

Thanks for the review! I've upgraded from my amazon paddle to a Babolat that I spent $50 on and I'm looking to upgrade my paddle now that I'm playing 4-6X/week. I've considered the selkirk vanguard control, also looking into the 6.0 Ruby or DBD, but I love the idea of a lifetime warranty! Looking forward to maybe trying this paddle out.

This is probably one of best price point for a thermoformed paddle and what's to not like about lifetime warranty with more power that comes with it making it even better value. 😎 I heard their Gen 3 is kevlar. Be interesting to see the price of that when it comes out.
My first paddle is an Apex pro from hudef. And lately for warranty reasons I'm sticking to hudef

I agree it's a great paddle but I prefer a lower S.W. so I tend towards the original Viva Pro 16mm

Although the gen 3 already came out which is a Kevlar blend paddle, Gen 2 is still a good choice combining the price point and lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty shows their confidence on the quality and performance.
Agreed. I think the cost-to-performance ratio is really good with the Gen2, and the budget aspect of it is a strong point for me.

I love your videos!! I am newer to the sport of pickleball and have been looking to get a paddle of my own. I currently use one of my girlfriends Monarch Dragon Slayer but as my friends and I are starting to get better at pickleball I have been looking to invest in a better paddle. I have been looking at The Filth but to hear that this paddle is somewhat similar and is cheaper I may go ahead and purchase it if i don't win this giveaway. You're videos have been very helpful for learning more about what paddles I should be using for my playing style and I look forward to seeing you post more about Pickleball.

im interested in this for singles as i want something with a lot of drive power/spin/dwell time over pop and handspeed. Budget $110 and under. This might beat the other option- the Spartus Gladius Centurion is right there (lighter swingweight), along with the Neonic Force (poppier), Triple J Jahking AR(Aramid face), speedup fire (14mm 6 inch handle) and coretek alpha/omega(?) which im very interested in but i need more reviews due to the durability issues with 'gen 3' foam. So hard to decide without trying them out!

Hudef gets it: it has to perform, it needs to be good value, and it has to look good. Check, check, and check.
