    I recently got the tko c 12.7 and it is amazing. It has improved my game already. Everything feels so good coming off the face, it has made pickleball even more fun for me. I was coming from a 14mm prism flash so I was worried I would have issues controlling it but it feels even better than the flash.

    Another great content and review Dustin of the Bantams TKO-C/CX, I will be leaning towards the TKO-CX 14.3mm version, so many power paddles to choose from the power paddles I have so far is the Hudef Viva Pro Gen 3, Mark Kinetic, Versix Vector XL and Pickleball Apes Pro Line Energy

    Try the paddle Tellez uses, the Lotto Ultima Pro 14mm, for power and pop it will blow all these away. Now for control, well……and it is loud.

    Thanks for the video! I have the Pursuit Pro EX 6.0, but the grip circumference at 4-3/8 is too large for me. I wish I would have chosen the Pro1 instead which have 4-1/4 grips.

      Yeah the grips are thicker on those models.. one reason why I prefer the Pro1 as well!

    When you mention high levels or low levels of “pop“ I’m pretty sure I know what you mean. But could you explain how it’s advantageous to some or potentially disadvantages to others.

    I friggin LOVE my TKO-CX. It feels and sounds so good. The ball goes so hard. Tons of spin.

    I'm currently demoing a Paddletek Bantam TKO-C 14.3mm. The elongated paddle shape is new for me. I typically play with a wide body paddle. I can't decide if I like the TKO-C enough to buy it.

    How would you compare the feel and characteristics of the Pursuit Pro 1 6.0 versus the Pro MX and a J2K? I really enjoy the feel of the MX but I tend to hit closer to the head of the paddle, however it feels like there is a dead spot outside of the center of the paddle.

      Thank you, I hope it's helpful! The owner should get the production level models in in the next couple days, but up until now they literally had only one production model, which I was using as my main, but I shipped it out for John Kew to evaluate for the comparison he is putting out sometime this week, so I haven't had it for a little bit, haha. I'll be very curious to see how the production models compare! Its been one of the more poppy Kevlar paddles I've played with, and was one of the first few 14mm kevlars to be released and was very stable for a 14mm Paddle. It was super manuverable, and I really liked the flex I felt in the handle on attacks and harder shots. My only curiosity in the future will be if it's going to have too much pop in colder weather or when using duras in non-hot weather or something, but especially when it's hot outside or using heavier balls it felt great to me.

    • @PickleballMedicine
      @PickleballMedicine  3 месяца назад +2

      I think that's reasonable... it could make an argument for a #5 or #4 spot, depending on preference, but I dont think you can beat the value of the Viva pro gen 3 (price, warranty, return policy, etc) and I think the Mark One is a bit more versatile. But I could see an argument made to have the J2H in one of those spots, based on other perspectives!

    Great video it's good to see the Engage Pursuit getting more love because the ball feel on this paddle is so awesome that once played with, I don't enjoy other gen 2 paddles anymore. The dwell time adds to control with its power.

      @joshuapickett1234 Engage Pursuit Pro MX 6.0, 16mm for me, at least it took very little time to adjust to this paddle, and my drives are far better than any other paddle I've used. It doesn't have the highest pop, but it gives both power and control in exchange. You will love the contact feel.

    • @joshuapickett1234
      @joshuapickett1234 3 месяца назад +1

      @@waynekurtz660 nice, why do you use that one over the new pro 1?

    • @waynekurtz660
      @waynekurtz660 3 месяца назад

      @joshuapickett1234 because I got to demo it, and reviews of the pro 1 at the time said they were very similar. The Pro 1 was marketed as more power, but most reviews suggested slightly less power in exchange for lower swing weight. Both are very similar, but I knew from the demo that I enjoyed the thicker handle of the MX 6.0, and they did away with that on the pro 1. I also like a heavier swing weight mine with some added lead is at 126.

    • @waynekurtz660
      @waynekurtz660 3 месяца назад

      I put 6 grams on each side on the bottom of the paddle throat up to just below, where most people add weight, which is at 4 & 8 on a clock. My weight is more like 5 & 7 this doesn't add too much to the swing weight but increases the stability, sweet spot, and control with slightly more power from the swing weight. I think a pro 1 would have a smaller sweet spot at the top because of the shape difference. To feel similar to mine. I believe it would need 3 additional grams on each side at 4 and 6, but it won't regain the missing surface area.
