    Just got a PPE summer edition after using the GB Demo program and loving the paddle. I have to say it feels like this new paddle has more pop than the demo I had for a week

  • @SixZeroPB-KC
    @SixZeroPB-KC 9 дней назад

    Playing in 95 plus weather in the Midwest the extra pop is a must for me. BD 14 fits the bill very well. I think a lot of folks will love it. It’s not for a lower level player though. Requires soft hands on resets and dinks. Weapon at the kitchen though for volleys and flicks. Drives are great too, no surprise.

  • @mcnillerandsons7906

    Honestly I played a good portion of these and for me the Ruby 16mm was up there in power with the Bantam TKO-C and Engage Pro1 6.0, and slightly ahead of the Shogun. All incredible paddles on their own and you could have success with each. I want to try the gearbox but Chris’s recap video had me a little hesitant. I’m sure it comes down to me being more confident to swing bigger with the Ruby.

      I have a 14. It’s a good mix of the 16 and infinity. Almost as much power as the 16 but with way more pop. Not as easy to control as the 16 but not that difficult. Add some tungsten on the throat and it feels like a faster 16. New core has serious juice. My favorite 6.0 to date.

      @@PickleballWill Absolutely. That thing is a power monster. John Kew also said in his podcast that the J2K Pro (not to be confused with the J7K Pro) is pretty much indistinguishable from the Azul. And the J7K Pro has even more plow through and leverage with a higher swing weight and a longer handle.

      Shoot man if you think the TKO-C lacks spin I don't know what to recommend since i think it's one of the more spin friendly paddles. The Engage is on par with the Bantams and I would say the only paddle on this list that maybe bets crazy spin is the Black Diamond 14mm

    Feels like players still using the Joola Gen 3 Magnus McGuffin paddle have a huge advantage. A woman on my intermediate pb league is using that Joola paddle, and between the power and spin, it's annoying to watch her opponents struggle (including myself) to play against her.

    Will, love your videos, but you need some sort of intro. Rather than just diving into the video (it always sounds like I just jumped into the middle of your video), you need a catchy intro. Something like “Welcome to the show”. Or “Welcome to Will’s World”. Or even “Welcome to The Real Host of Pickleball Studio”. You need a catch-phrase, something to grab our attention at the start of your shows.

    • @wiseinvestments5134

      It’s actually nice to have a RUclips just get straight to the content. The intro for any video is self-contained in the title. The intro is what got you to click. There isn’t really a need to recap what they are going to talk about when the title states it already. Straight into the content is great.

Yet you want those shapes because you have fast hands? Elongated shapes typically don't complement fast hands well.
