@Toyota Kawasaki Underrated as a "shredder." But that is bc he didn't shred on albums very much. He shredded enough live tho, but in the mid-80's he's shredding at the end of Let's Go Crazy, and my dad came downstairs to see if old concert video of Jimi Hendrix was being played on MTV. It was a big t.v. and big speakers for the time. It was a t.v. made with MTV in mind I think.
One of the greatest guitarists of all time. No one will ever play guitar and move the way he does with his passion and energies. And if there was any foul play in his death, I hope they are caught and made to rot in jail. May you Prince Rogers Nelson rest in peace with Jesus and God.
At 4:00 is when it get crazy to me. What a performer! The cool walk across the stage, the guitar solo up top and the way the horn section comes in at the end of the solo. Amazing.
Ms Sheila E on drums .Prince was always empowering women . Love him.Of course Sheila E said he worked the hell out her, but I guess that's what legends do.
Shelia was playing those drums like a possessed savage! She's incredible! Lol Also Cat Glover, the girl who plays the love interest and dancer in this, choreographed the whole Sign Of The Times concert with Prince. She's badass too.
No lie...this movie came to the theater in Harper's Court in Chicago in '87/88...I paid to see it ...had to be like ...at least 30-60 times....I was glad when they finally released it on VHS. Wish I still had it.
... it’s remastered but Prince definitely gave live shows that sounded just like the record if not better... when I heard he died, just knowing I could never see him Live again literally mad me cry and I’m a grown ass man... Rest in Power & Purple--☮️&💜
Most underrated Guitarist of all time. Dude was a genius.
One of the best musicians, who ever lived on this planet!!!
What makes you believe he's underrated? Did you travel the globe taking a survey from every citizen of the world?
Underrated ??

@@gogoyubari366 I believe it's in reference to Rolling Stones not ranking the G.O.A.T in the top 10.

Pinnacle of his career in my opinion. Pinnacle of anyone's career. This is the most elite level performance you will ever see.
Creativity was on another level. Imagine if he kept the original version of Wally
Couldnt of said it any better, incredible

So refreshing to NOT see any phones being held aloft during a live show!
Man, that set! So elaborate and so much going on with all the lights etc. Not to mention all that talent on one stage!
Incredible concert and song. When the song changes mood to that dark blues at 4.00, it goes to another level.
What a genius.
