I feel like this is the sweet spot for pops and bangs. Not too much, but just a enough to put a smile on. Plus the stock exhaust sounds so good. I’m very jealous of that
It's had plenty lol
Yo holy hell I gotta give you props! This is sounds so fuckin good 😭 best pov I’ve seen on youtube
That is the cleanest EN I have seen. Really makes me want to buy one 🤔
Sounds so sick. I just got my EN this week I can’t wait to get it broken in
Oh hell yeah, break in period sucks haha hopefully it flies by for ya
I pick mine up in 4 weeks! How long I'd the break-in period? I haven't actually heard any numbers...
@@nechavataco191 600 miles
@@nechavataco191 600-1000 miles then do an oil change and let it riiiiiiip!
@@agoldstein1995 Awesome! Thank you for the info!
Those crackles man 👌🏻 I like them in between shifts not off throttle like this car. Makes me want to sell my new truck for a car again.
Looks like I'm moving from Euro to South Korean! They've been paying attention to what people want from the factory.💯
Thought this was the Topher 😂
hahah yeah the thumbnail got me too
lolol my god I promise I'm not trying to be a copy cat
@@pattyboi hahah ur good man. He can’t be the only one to use those pov shots. Just used to seeing them, and it being the Toper lol
Yeah I love the topher
Good video Topher
Exhaust note reminds of a 4G63 with some extra crackles. Thing pulls for just a stage 1 tune. These things are going to rip with bolt ons and ethanol tunes.
Honestly it sounds very 4G63/4B11T like, which makes some sense sense because the Theta engine series shared lots of commonalities with the 4B11T
Good video thought it was the Topher also definitely a compliment. I started a youtube channel om my bmw few weeks ago and your channel was very helpful with how to format a video
ive been going back and forth on this car or the wrx. but damn does this sound beautiful.
My 17 wrx was a wonderful car, raw driving without the crazy safety features. But the wrx isn't fast in a straight line. So keep that in mind
Same here man. I've been looking to downgrade to either a 2022 Elantra N or the WRX. I can't decide because I really want the Elantra N, but we get some bad winters here so I have been leaning towards the WRX. I guess it'll come down to what my wife and I decide after looking into both next week.
Getting my en dct in anfew weeks. Roads are full of wrx’s already. Go EN
@@silverx5733 I ended up ordering a 2022 WRX manual. I needed something practical for our harsh winters and I don’t want to leave AWD for my daily
Don't know why anyone would choose a wrx over an elantra n. Unless you just need the AWD. Other than that the N smokes it in every other category.
Every car should sound like this!!!
Awesome car man. I really want one but can’t give up the RS 😆
Sounds so 👍
Love you man. You're so criminally underrated. Keep up the amazing work. Loveeee your car reviews ❤️
Greats sounds
Great*
That car sounds and performs sooooo sick! Love it! 💞
This car just sounds TOO fucking good for a Turbo 4
Awesome video! Thumbnail looks great!
Yea when I get mine I can’t wait to buy an exhaust to get this crisp sound
Approved.
sounds so much cleaner tuned
Lol..I usually clap my shoes when is snowy out.
There is an elantra I wouldn't feel embarrassed to drive.
Love your content with the EN! Debating on the front mount for mine should I get it?
Love the car and sound!!
I need one now 😮💨
Dude, gotta have the boost and torque displayed on pov, not tpms. Good videos tho
One thing that is very disappointing about living in the Phoenix AZ area is that there aren't very many curvy roads. Phoenix is the epitome of the "grid layout" and almost all the roads are N/S or E/W. About the only curvy roads are within the subdivisions where the speed limits are like 25-30, the freeway (I guess), and in Sun City where the retirees all live. Would be hella fun to live in a curvy road place again, but I'm not willing to live in winter so, there's that.
You know what's funny? I'm actually visiting Arizona right now hahah, we flew into Phoenix and I'm staying in Sedona. The roads are super windy out here at least. Plus you guys are so spoiled, not a single pothole as far as I can see 🤌
Might have to trade the GR86 in 😅
Cold air intake? Or just a filter swap? Definitely more intake noise than stock.
It's just the mic location. 100% stock hardware.
So, so cool. want to try this, but concerned about the engine light giving it away when taking it in for an oil change. Wondering if the dealership will even service it when the tune is realized.
Whats up topher
god damn it lolol
@@pattyboi even did the little shoe tap thing before you got in lmao
@@plumpywing the shoe tap I only just noticed 😂
@@pattyboi in all seriousness tho good video 👍
As an enthusiast wit a 2015 mk7 Golf R stg 2 APR ECU w FBO, I'm looking to get an EN....Luv the look, but that exh. Is a cop magnet as it seems to sound FAR louder, but not better...IMO
Reminds me of the old SRT4 Neon
Lol seems like a ball! Awesome!
Sounds great!! But where i live the cops would arrest me 2 times a day
That rev matching is very interesting, if I did that with my 6MT GTI it would be a jerky ride
That just means you aren't doing it right or your car is broken. I've done rev matching in a base mk6 Jetta with extra laggy throttle mapping.
@@damiendegrasse lol sure buddy, full e85, stage 2 at 46k miles with factory clutch still no slip
@@damiendegrasse Also did you even watch the video? What he's doing is completely different than what we have to do to rev match SMH
I want to see it from the outside 😮💨🇰🇷
So sweet
There's days I miss my VN there's day like after this video I miss my EN.
But then I get in my KN and hit a bump and remember I don't miss them that much haha.
Damn! You had both VN and EN before settling on the KN?? Do you miss the EN at all? I actually went VN-->sonata N line-->EN. I am constantly looking for dips and potholes...stresses me out lol.
@@peterhong526 I do miss the EN sometimes as it was a stick and usable back seats. And the interior was nicer. But the comfort and not dropping to the ground to get in and out of it vs the KONA big game change. Kona pretty much performs the same on the streets and back roads just better comfort and ride quality. I think you get a more car for the $$in the EN then the KN but man the KN is a fun conversation piece out in the wild. If I had to do it all again I would go 2022 K5 GT and tune hands down. Or the new GR coming.
@@Boostedbeard I am with you on the Kona N, I love mine. I have had a 12 Lancer Ralliart, 97 Eclipse GSX, 16 WRX, 97 3000 GT VR4 and now the Kona. You get everything with no compromise. I do miss my VR4 though, that was a conversation piece every time she came out lol. Maybe I will buy it back one day.
❤❤😎😎
She quick
Damn bro this shit pulls I’m surprised
Do you think custom exhaust will make it sounds louder and deeper 🤔
I wish my Kona N was tuned!!!
Need pov test drive 🔥😎
NOICE! next time put your camera ev -2 or -3 so that your outside footage isnt over exposed.
Yep still working out the kinks for these POV type videos
Did you choose conservative or aggressive for the crackle??
Can those mods also be done on the dct Elantra n?
Does this tune void your warranty or with the extra ecu they won't find out?
There's no such thing as a voided warranty, but you can have individual claim denied because of modifications. Realistically if you are worried about getting a claim denied, don't modify your car.
you can swap the stock ECU to tune ECU if its broke. they will never know.
@@Hybrid9830 they 100% will know, lol. There are plenty of people reporting denied warranty claims over tuned ECUs and it’s widely known in the aftermarket community.
You think the manufacturer wouldn’t be able to know if their own ECU hasn’t been modified?
Any issues with having a tune for 7 months now? Still happy with it?
Man this makes me want to trade in my 16 ram for one of these
Damn, no modified exaust?? Sounds like it.
Did you guys dyno it after the ECU tune?
I have a 2019 Elantra SE with a six speed and a Yonaka axle back exhaust. Think I could fit an N line engine?
Honda Whoo😭😭
How are the falcons and upgrade from the Michelin pilot 4s lol?
I thought these only came in auto, Either way, Manual is the way to go.
Dct ain't an auto lol
Do you have a dyno sheet on this? Also what kind of dyno was used?
Did you get the conservative or aggressive crackle enhanced on the tune or none .?
Wondering this too. I want to get none as long as it doesn't reduce crackles from stock.
This was with none - so exactly as stock.
Ummmmm....yes....just yes.
Nothing like voiding the warranty fgor your new car, lets void the warranty, for your new caaaaaar (to the ending credits beat)
I just got this new Elantra N, vustomed tuned warranty ends, transmission failed for my friend, said he'll never get another again.
Did you fix the second gear lockout?
Will these upgrades void warranty?
Anyone have any issues with N mode exhaust on their manual. It’s not consistent with its noise sometimes. Some drives it’s quieter than it should be
Sorry can’t relate I don’t own the car yet 😪
Did you wired a microphone to the trunk?
Had a GoPro recording it
Did you downsize the wheels from stock?
Yeah, smaller diameter but an inch wider. These are 18x9 Et45.
Can you please walk me through how I get my car to sound like this? Do I need to tune it?
It's literally stock haha. That's what it sounds like from the factory.
You from Minnesota?
What is the exhaust set up?
JUST a tune?? the engine note is completely different
What camera and microphone do you use?
GoPro hero 9 for both
Are you running the stock exhaust system ?
Yep, completely stock exhaust.
Kinda sounds like my speed 3
no torque steer in yours?
Does it have any jerky spots in the tune? Or smooth as factory. I know factory has some minor jerking…Also does it really set your miles to 0 when doing a new ecu?
Thanks
Smooth as factory. What do you mean by "setting miles to zero"? Can you clarify?
@@williamrori1274 I was referring to the odometer. I have since found out the gauge cluster stores the amount of miles.
@@CKDESIGNS Ah, nope that does not change.
What exhaust?
Can you do anything with the screen to the left of the dash?
Nothing lol. I hope they release an update that does something.
In the DCT it shows the mode you're in I think
@@meCmoni it does nothing in the dct as well. Pretty sure that is the where the Elantra N line mode button is.
Is this conservative crackles or agressive or none???
How is the ngs button affected when you install the tune?
That feature is only on the DCT. On the MT, that button just turns on rev matching.
@@Cynthesis21 I have a dct so that why I asked 😅 thanks for the insight
Spare ECU tune or using the EK1?
spare ecu, EK1 is on the way but I think the EK1 still requires an ECU upgrade no?
I want one
it's tune by who again
SXTH element
Did you do a resonator delete?
Nope, completely stock exhaust.
YOOO
Will the engine mount void the warranty ??
What exhaust is this?
Stock!
Whats the 0-60 now? 4.5ish?
Realistically I feel like it would be a low 5 second car
@@pattyboi I’m running 5.1s spinning through second till about 55-60 on jb4 map 1 no other mods 8spd DCT
@@rapiddog106 4.96 Forte GT here
Sounds like a farting lawn mower with some meat to it if we are being honest. I’m sad that sports cars are steering away from small v8’s
Warranty gone?
There's no such thing as a voided warranty. You can; however, have specific claims denied because of modifications. If you worried about that, don't modify your car.
@@williamrori1274 I don't ......
can someone explain to me why my Veloster n doesn't sound this good?
Do you have the MT or DCT? The exhaust note is different between the two because of the power delivery through gears. The MT VN sounds close to this.
@@meCmoni Ah, yes I have the facelift veloster n with the DCT
It sounds strange
Why tune a sports car when they have enough horsepower and living in California you can’t smog it with a tune or Modified I’ll keep my Veloster N stock that’s good enough for me.
The car is a driving gimmick compared to the hatchback
No its not at all
Not cool,...you were way over the speed limit!. What about the people who live along that road? You think they want to listen to that?=
Are these more gripper than Pilot sports???
What’s the tire setup?
