Keep that hood for the wall, get a new hood to paint
Midwest DankAlumni I like this idea. However it is done, it should be preserved somehow.
Rohan Lowe just clear coat it
Not true bro
When Jared started making comments on tav's hair I was like damn dude that's rude... And then I realized it was all a setup for the ad lol
Someone has to tell you when its time. Men clinging to their hair is pathetic.
Shave it and look your age.
That to me is just general banter if you can't have a laugh about it then you aren't really a social person.
You can't take everything in life seriously. Life without humour isn't worth living.
Kolin Stallman so why do women shave their hair off. Because you know you will look ugly. We are not pathetic we just want to look better. You people are pathetic for people wanting to keep their hair. You say it's your body you control them same with us.
My hairline started receding when I was a teenager and it started thinning out on top around 20.
Shaved my head for the first time at 21 and never looked back. It doesn't even have to look that great, the confidence boost you get from no longer worrying about it is worth it.
The ability to roll out of bed with your "hair" already styled is a bonus.
This "keep your hair with THIS solution" bullshit needs to go away. It's about as real as those enlargement pills from SPAM emails.
Someone had to talk vegeta...i mean tavarish into doing it.
Now that we have seen Tavarish's first built car, We also need to see Jared's first car which he built😀
By the way,I really enjoy your videos, keep it up!!
Sadly Jared's first built car was salvaged. It most certainly did not have any intercooler piping made out of pvc piping.
@@TheQuestionableGarage ABS pipe?
@@TheQuestionableGarage my first car build ever was a 1974 Pontiac Firebird. An 84 year old lady ran a stop sign and totaled it..
@@TheQuestionableGarage This reply was so obviously written by Jared and I love it. lol
Any old pics of Jared's first car?
Damn, those pine straws at 5:20 respawned three times before Jared vacuumed them all the way! lol 😂
Freddy sticks his finger in it and then smells it AND then sticks in Jared's face to smell it, best show ever!!!!! LOL
More common practice in a shop then you ever care to think
I do that at my shop all the time but I don’t wash my hands from the night before!!!???!!
At least he didn't put in his differential first.
The real signs of a long lasting friendship....here smell my finger ! haha this is gonna turn out awesome :-)
That might have been stripper and not oil...
I love Jared man he's got my laughing hard when he pointed out Tavarish hair 😂
Hugh anzo Totally!! Hahaha!! I love when other people point out the obvious and make fun of other peoples embarrassing genetics 😂😂😂
was going to type the same 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
LOL the ad placement was perfect
as a man who is balding there is nothing funny about that!!! it took years to build up self confidence again LOL
Same here 🤣🤣🤣
by far the best way to introduce a sponsor I have ever seen! fantastic!!!
Considering how old Tavarish was when he made this pile of... Excellence. He did surprisingly well.
Still a heap though (for now)
I don't want to know about the peppermint scented lubricant that was on Tavarish's shelf.
Everyone knows that peppermint essential oils are excellent for transfer cases. 😂🤣
Peppermint oils keep rodents away
@@Nedinho23 I heard Tea Tree oil is the perfect diesel additive. It adds extra smoke. More smoke=more power
Unfinished projects give me anxiety so I am keeping a running list in the hopes that they will finish some.

That a lot of projects to be keeping track like that wow 😯 😊
Twelve sure is a big number there champ.
I already see this will be one of the most enjoyable series out there, who would have thought before? With ups and downs: junkyard -> fixed by youngster with big dreams -> forgotten daily, I think lastly the car requires a good retirement as a good (and working) statue. Statue of dreams of a young man which came true.
I thought Jared was being a jerk until I saw the product placement 😂 I almost felt bad for Freddie for a second
It was smooooooooooth!
Same dude.
Listen Jared, you didn’t need to attack my boy Freddy’s hair like that. Us balding men have it hard enough as it is 😭
He just needs to use some more KEEPS 🤣
Mod Boy NERF hahaha tru
it totally works 100%
You should photograph all the art work on the car, have it digitally restored and use it to create a wrap to restore this piece of art.
randal thomas another great concept to preserve the epic paint job. It is a piece of history to be celebrated!
OMG that intro made me laugh out loud like a fool.....kudos to you, Jared
Tavarish should paint it just for the meme
Black Hole Sun his hair?
You always pick the perfect music on this channel and Tavarish that makes you want to move while you’re doing stuff! 💃
Hands down top content from these guys Jared and tavarish 🙌🏻💯❤️ i never ever felt they videos long they end too soon 🙈💯
I loved SC's when I was a kid and I love them more as an adult knowing they're actually good. I want a stock 400 some day to bump lost boys, and nas tapes in.
That's the most straight up 90s I ever read.
You guys got the chemistry going. I hope you guys can keep this production style up. It's fun.
I relate with this car so much. My first truck that i just got has so many wiring and half a$$ fixes. It’s cool to see how you guys fix stuff and also how I could improve my own skills. Keep up the good work🤘
Fun episode with all the back and forth between the two. Enjoyed it.
Hey man! I'd love to see you try Keeps and post your progress. I'm having the same issue.
Good friends are a rare thing, you guys obviously are, great to watch you two work together.
Jared quickly became my favourite car youtuber (or youtuber in general) and the editor is fantastic too!!! High quality content here!
I love how yall talk ish back and fourth reminds me of my best friend and I
Loving the back and forth between Jared and Tavarish on this build. Keep it coming fellas!
One of their best videos. The comedy and banter between the two of them was great.
Wrench every day is so good! Love it!
You guys work so well together. Great episode.
Love your videos, Jared!! Thank you for some of the best content on RUclips!!
I'm detecting some for real animosity between you guys. Lego my ego
Definitely KEEP that mural hood to hang on the wall then get a carbon one for the car. OR, keep the mural hood and the mural trunk and the mural roof and put them back on the car (well, the hood and the trunk at least) after you prep them and clear them and then repaint the rest of the car some other awesome color. So basically a hood, roof, trunk mural re-cleared and the rest of the car like a pearl white or a baby blue.
I love these 2 together. Great chemistry. Also very much enjoying this project.
Love the segue to keeps and how jared atill went back to it later.
And the differential conversation waa absolutely hilarious!
This was a great video to see the chemistry you 2 got!
New subscriber here and enjoyed the banter. You make a good team. Thank you.
and there is another great video out! thx and keep the good spirit up!
This was the most fun I've seen you guys have making fun of each other in quite a while. Good stuff.
I am really excited to see this be brought back to life fully in a good way. This will be awesome.
I wish they can restomod this car as a street sleeper. Like a clean factory paint and like a RPF1 wheels
Loved the editing in the clean up phase, kinda went along with the paint job...
I hate advertisement, but I really liked the way you did it here. Nice job! Reminds me of the very, very old radio shows, where the message of the sponsors would not be a pre-recorded ad.
19 year old Freddy style, with a scissor jack & a cinderblock ? 😂😂
8:24 those look like the older style turbo piping. updated piping moved the PCV hose from the middle Y section to the front pipe
Love the vids, but always better when its the two of them together lol you have to be decent mates for that amount of banter 😄
What an epic episode! Really love this project. I would really like longer episodes, this car is so awesome!
Hahaha that Jared man, he nailed it. It was a really bald move to mention about the crown Freddie wears now a days.
Love these older car projects, just shows a little love and care can make these cars last a lot longer than intended.
I’ll buy keeps when I see some proof Tavarish! Your the perfect candidate😂
Big Boyz BBQ Same here
12:00 look up the Milwaukee torque lock pliers. Their tightening design is so much better than standard vice grips.
I super enjoyed that episode. Do a full restore!
I'm curious how you wind up fixing the gauges. I had a 93 gs300 and my friend had a 93 sc400, and both always had cluster issues. Lextech lighting used to offer rebuilds, but then it changed hands and something went way wrong for the second owner, lot of people didn't get their clusters back.
Great episode, I have a 1995 Sc300 with 2jzgte/v160 swap, they are great cars and since the Supra is getting so expensive anyone that wanted a Supra should try to find a manual Sc300, you can make them a fun street car with a single turbo, my kids laugh at it and call it an old man car but so what I'm old now.
I have been waiting for this mans to get a Keeps sponsorship 😭😭❤️❤️
11:56 thank you Tavarish for good advice, that's how I found myself getting stiches
Bro, that was an amazing transition to a sponsor. Kudos to you Jared, and Freddy a lil bit prolly too. 🤣
As far as I can see this, there are only 2 options in regards to the paint: A) Freddy repaints it himself, B) you keep the old paint.
Brilliant video. You guys need to come up with a really C00L idea for the paint or wrap. A way in which your viewers can get involved.
When they repeated that shot of Jared starting to remove the pine needles from the front for the third damned time, I lost it, and started laughing like an idiot.
Isn’t that exactly what vacuuming feels like?? 😏
By far my favorite duo on RUclips/ TV
I’ve been waiting a long time for you to start working on this
😬
I love the bantering!!! These guys are brothers in another life!! Lol! Hilarious!
Nice video! Can't wait to see rolling footage of it!
I hope this build doesnt take a year! I cant wait to see the finished product!
awesome video ! cant wait for the next episode!
So funny man... Good transition to keeps, you guys are hilarious!
I have been waiting for this sponsor for far too long!
I'm excited to see this restored!
Worked on my 1UZ Soarer all day yesterday so this was nice to watch :)
1:40 in and already laughing, you go mr jared lol
This series is really encouraging as someone who is restoring/building a 20 year old junkbucket right now, lol
Use (metal polish) to clean the headlights Glass with Fiber cloth or... too easy really amazing result
Woohoo more content!! Also please do something with the Ferrari
I once had a car with an oil plug so stripped and seized no shop would touch it. I cut two flat sides with a dremel and soaked it in wd-40, then went at it with the same vice grip and hammer method. Worked great, though I did need a new plug.
Love Jared and Tavarish together. Couple guys enjoying their passion.
This is the series I've been waiting for
You can really feel the joy from Tavasrish in this video... I can't wait to see how he takes care of this.
oh man i missed that ... more of you together!!!
best banter I have seen for a while its like watching two teenagers mess around with their first car
Come for the jokes, stay for the proper amount of suction action! Perfect form Jared! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Being that I have a '94 sc300 that I intend on adding a turbo to or possibly GTE swapping eventually, I will enjoy this.
I like the way these videos aren't as polished as the main channel . Seems you guys are having a good time.
Can you please show us how to clean the headlight to make them look new?
throwback to the time i completely forgot to put a filter on before I poured the oil in and dumped like 5 qts of oil on the ground. luckily it dawned on me what i'd done BEFORE i tried to start it but...
Hey Jared,
This is a real question, I'm really not trolling!! I respect your skill and knowledge and have a quick question:
Is there any specific reason not to power-wash or hose-wash the engine bay and undercarriage (while avoiding sensitive electronic parts) outside of the garage before bringing it inside to work on?
Is there something about vacuuming the engine bay that I just don't know, which makes vacuuming a better choice?
I was always taught, and find it much better/easier to work on a car that's been de-greased and washed out.
Thank you!
Alot of cars you can fill the transmission through the speedometer cable. Just a tip... Most cars are designed to fill even on a lift so if doing it in your driveway with a jack it's actually better to fill through the cable look up the capacity online. If to fill at an angle if it were on jacks the fill plug is at the wrong angle so you will actually be a half quart low on fluid at least in most cases. Hope that makes sense
Little tip, when you use vise grips as your hood prop, point them towards the interior of the engine bay. If someone accidentally closes them inside it won’t crush them between the hood and body damaging both
This is getting good real fast, I wanna see the end result. Like an "evolution of Freddy"-esque build. From when he was 19 to today.
I love how tavarish just was talking thru for what you was saying about his hairloss for like 50 seconds
I vote for home done white paint, wrapped with a recreation of the current paint.
Bring the original artis in for a respray in the same style
look forward to you two bringing this car back up to code!
I will be interested to follow this challenge between you. Whichever of you wins I will be happy. Good job.
You need some new battery terminals...knuconeptz terminals would be a nice touch and some of their thicker gauge wiring would be great as well. Have you ever thought of having the original graphics printed on some vinyl wrap and then wrap the car..nonetheless Good luck with the build : )
The editing is on point!
Jared you should’ve applied some heat with a MAP gas torch before ever grabbing the vise grips and it probably would’ve came out.
and that my friends is how you have the talk🤣🤣🤣👌🏾
I think it was foreshadowing that I watched Project Farm's "Best rounded nut remover" video just before this one!! Jared, Freddie, you should check it out...
I love how the jokes catch Freddie off guard, so much genuine interaction and chemistry.
You really think Freddie didn't know they had to do a add for a hair loss company? That was him "acting" clueless
Please enter that in an Art Car competition at that festival in your neighboring town 😂😂😂
Adding Jared to Wrench Every Day is the best choice. His videos alone are good, but you two together are great!
FYI I had that exact problem with my cludter in my LS400. 5 capacitors in the cluster's motherboard fixed it permanently
