That's what I would have done I would have started unloading it keys inside I have the title and if they said anything about it I would do a charge back on my card
I'm nice and would have let it slide at first but after about 30 minutes I would have said not fuck this and started unloading it especially if I was ready to go and I had camera equipment like they do I would also get a number to a supervisor and let them know of the situation as well and tell them I'm doing a charge back because this is terrible service as soon as they showed up the car should have been unloaded because the truck was not being worked on or anything and there was no reason why the car had to sit on the trailer for an obscene amount of time wasting customer time and your time sounds like someone's milking a clock

Problem is car shipping is done by broker, the company he paid has nothing to do with the druggie who hauled the car, other than paying him a fee. The correct action would be to alert the company he hired that the driver they hired was a jerk and smelled of weed. I’ve shipped cars for years and with the exception of the big players like Passport or Reliable and a few others your dealing with brokers and independent contractors.

Bryan Cohn it is worth it to use Reliable or Intercity. Lots of issues with the brokers.
sandra folsom I’ve had great success with brokers. The key is communication with the driver or drivers and I always tip them $20 on pick up. That goes to them, not the broker and it’s amazing what a tip will do.

That thing is bullet proof. I traded my 300k mile mr2 for a 400k mile 97 sc300 and it was still super mint. Takes me back when I had that SC. Great addition to your million mile lexus

@Wrench Every Day, I had the same issue with my '97 SC300's gauge cluster as well - ODO is blank and speedometer won't work. I sent it to Tanin Auto and all is working now; I imagine some solder had come loose over the years.

I worked at a Lexus dealership when these came out. One thing I always thought was cool was when someone ordered the gold package, those were actually electroplated at the dealer. So all the cars came from the factory with chrome emblems, and they were changed as the customers ordered them.

The shipper deserved non of that and as a service to your fans which include many individuals who ship cars the shipper should have been outed. Or as in most show and car business he should have been intimidated into a full refund in exchange for free advertising on your channel and being told if it ever comes to light that anyone has a similar bad experience Mr. Pink will visit them and nicely remind the man of the service agreement. Shipper needs to be blasted publicity or physically

After your last video, the first thing I looked for was a GS300/400 and then SC300/400. There are none for sale on craigslist in my area.
I've also owned several Toyota's with the color interior. It was call Oak I think in my Sequoia. Also makes swapping in a steering wheel with controls easy because they used the same one for 20 years.

The ZZ30 is such a criminally underrated car. Personally I think its one of the most beautiful cars to come out of Japan along side the FD3S. Its a shame cars such as the Soarer, Laurel, ER34, etc are all over shadowed so much by their over hyped counterparts.

I've been looking for a clean SC300. This one looks amazing! Supply has really dwindled the past few years, and hence prices have shot up.
Lexus steering was definitely tuned for luxury rather than a sporty feel. I like Jared's idea of putting a Supra steering rack in there.
I found a SC400 in Atascadero CA for $4800 with 110,000 miles. It was a 1993 and it was IMMACULATE. pearl white like this one. Not 2jz tho but the smoother V8. Sold already 😭
98+ steering rack was updated it feels way better and smoother than the 92-97

Food for thought. The MK4 Supra seats are a direct bolt on to the SC300. It makes the driving experience so much better. You'll sit lower and tighter but till feel sick. And the tan leather is the same color. I did it with mine. Your passenger will sacrifice their power seats options for manual but who cares. Lol!

Next project idea. 1973 mustang coupe. Resto-mod it ! They are beautiful cars they look better in person and you and Mr. Pink will be comfortable in it ! I had one 351c 4b carb w/ v2 heads, build by a master dirt over engine builder.It sounded soooo good. Nice low rumble and when on it , it sounded like it just flowed out. not that loud for no reason stuff , all show and no go.

T, you should really invest in Techstream software (go to ebay). You can grab one with the cable to plug into your diagnostic port and check and make mods to your computers throughout the car. Very inexpensive. Techstream was hacked years ago, it's Toyotas dealer software. Installs on a laptop. A must for all your Lexus and Toyotas

So my 97 Deep Jewel Green Supra which I bought in 2001 had BOTH gold emblems and a gold pinstripe. I certainly assume those were a dealer add on since 95 was the only year with factory gold emblems??
