Freddie buys a Lotus and can't finish it because he can't find parts. Then goes and buys a damn NOBLE!? Bro, this is a nuts build and I am here for it!!
Noble got all the parts you want for the M12... they are really proud of their heritage models...
@@p.informatico1320 is this sarcastic? It would be cool if they did
Your comment is the only one tavarish didn't like. Go figure
@@chrisblock9815 Haha that's ok! Honestly, I get it from Freddie's side and some things are out of his control (even though he kind of hates the Lotus it seems lol) and I love these insane builds he does. Just funny to me. Hoping like the other commenter above says that there are more readily available parts for this build.
Well engine and gearbox are from Ford so it gets easier.
Tavarish, the kind of guy to fully restore a burned to the ground supercar before finishing the SL55 Manuel swap
He also has a crazy 911t waiting to be restored. He is a hoarder...
What makes you think he’s going to finish this?
He’s gonna sell it, if he hasn’t sold it by now
@@dumtree3727 not sure if you are talking about the SL or the Noble lmao
If he finished the SL someone would try to buy it
Who's Manuel and what did he do to delay the manual swap?
Anyone that has ever been around or liked fast cars for the past 20+yrs knows what a noble is.
Yep… Top Gear or Wheeler Dealer fans definitely know what this is.. 😊
Yo mom's dad's definitely do. They loves real British power.
@@TrollingHistory it's a Volvo/Yamaha engine so no British power at all.
Knew it in about all of a second
@@aclark9869 Is it? I thought it was a v6 from a Mondeo with twin turbos slapped on for good measure.
Finally a car I actually have unique knowledge about! I'm a 'fan' of the old Duratec 30 engine that these Nobles used. I love the Mondeo ST220 and this is the same engine, just with tons more power out of it. I'm glad to see Tavarish already knows about this because parts are available. That's what I love about Nobles, they were all made of parts that could be bought aftermarket and probably built in a shed.
I had a 2000 Svt contour with the 2.5l duratec absolutely loved it and was bliss when the secondaries opened up after 4800 rpm!
The Mondeo's that chewed up clutches and flywheels for breakfast?
@@onewheel4586 I wouldn't say chewed them up. It was always known that the clutch would be the part to watch out for but ST220s regularly have 100k+ miles on the clock. It's not like they go 20k and break down.
I love this engine. I have the 3.0 Duratec engine swapped in a '99 Ford Cougar (actually my car it's a Mercury - it was build in US and imported in Europe).
Ford's duratec engines are fantastic. Love the 3.5 in our explorer,. wonderful engine. Also love the 2.5 in our maverick hybrid.
If you keep buying fire damaged cars I understand why you and Ed get along so well. His flood cars balance out with your fire cars
Freddy has the fire sale cars, Ed likes his Hurricanes... and Hoovey just buys hoopties
@@MrXennhorn Hoovey likes to keep the cars that still have problems and gets rid of the ones that don't LOL
Hoovie's cars are the earth element
@@user-aRb00d3r then who's air? Who buys tornado-damaged cars?
and hoovie rounds it out by buying all the online scammers cars so we dont have to.
Tavarish the King of the Scrap Yard.
Matt Armstrong is the king of scrapyard
I think even this car is way to far gone even for Freddie!!!
Yup also gonsqrad
The pooper scooper
😂😂😂
Goog thing is that, next to the engine, you need a lot of other Mondeo parts. The taillights are from a Mondeo and in the interior many Mondeo parts were used also (buttons etc.). When it is finished it is a lot cooler than a Mondeo though. Good luck with the build!
incorrect. US car doesnt use Mondeo tailights, also doesnt use any mondeo interior parts. Some Ford yes, but not Mondeo. Only buttons on the dash are Noble made buttons.
Fun fact, the Noble used a Ford V6 from the European Mondeo (Taurus) and slapped a couple of turbos on. Most power they made were 220 bhp in the Mondeo
Platform is the CDW27 and the US Ford Contour and Mercury Mystique are the sharing it with Mondeo. Not Taurus.
Mondeo was nothing to do with the Taurus.
"It's not that bad"
The start to every amazing build
To be fair, I think this one is that bad though
Same like burnt dodge demon /hellcat restoration 😂
@@Greitone Worse than 'that bad"
Noble M12 is such an awesome car and genuinely damn quick with awesome handling. Just don't expect any electronic aid like traction control or ABS. One the most brutal cars I have driven and damn rare in UK, let alone the USA.
Was going to say it was one of those but diddnt incase I was wrong as I diddnt want the Mick taking out of me due to not being clued up on imports of this type
Its a m12 I thought it was a m400
Agree
I used to regularly see a couple of them, a black one first always parked in the same spot, and then a blue one replaced it after a couple of years, still parking in the same place.
A few years later I found out they both belonged to the previous owner of a local snooker hall, but if there was a story to why he had 2 then I never heard it - I don't even really know if thats who really owned it, it was a second--hand story (i was told by a staff member who joined after he sold the place, but who worked with staff who had been there at the time)
@@MJMoonwalker332 The M400 is the track-only version of the M12
5:36 "I have not thought this through" I feel like this is the thought going through your mind, Freddy, at the start of every rebuild. 🤣
But, when you can control the circumstances, you ALWAYS pull though, and that's why we're here. I hope you can source the parts, and if so, I can't wait to see this to the end. Hell yeah!!!
love the fact you have wheeler dealers on in the background - they also did an episode where they bought a noble - such great cars
I am a BIG fan of the Freddy and Jack team-ups. (Jared too.) Great comic moments.
Jack and Jared are gems.
If you replace every part around a 1" radius of the VIN it'd basically be brand new! Go for it!
@@jamesmaybrick2001 Came here to say this
One of my favorite cars of all time. I wish I could have gotten that deal. I would have dedicated my life to restoring it back to glory.
A company called Rossion own the rights to the Noble M400 chassis might be worth seeing if they have one for sale 👍
Wait a minute...the new body shell is already in the shop at the beginning of this episode! Surely, Jack saw that sitting there. 😄 (I know, it's a show)
I saw that too, he knows exactly what he is doing !!
Yeah I seen it immediately we all know this is a setup but Tavarish is funny to watch
@@RagdollRacingInc probubly not filmed at same time. In the back ground at one point is a porsche he traded months ago.
I'm glad you chose to rebuild. This is gonna be fun. Noble is a great car company.
inb4 he stores it for 1-3 years and sells it
Umm good luck with parts.
@@carlosoruna7174 it's all ford duratech parts bro
@@jeffrankin9744 Sure the motor is Ford parts (but seriously upgraded with twin turbos) but not the body and interior pieces. All those panels, and interior trim bits are a tad bit scarce. Not sure if 1G racing is still in existence and can source body/interior parts.
@@06VistaBlueGT1 might be able to have cad drawings and do them himself. Maybe not carbon fiber but in fiberglass or. aluminum . Freddie is know to do whatever it takes to get the car across the line.
I love the fact you had the replacement m12 body in the background under the lift the entire video didn’t even try to hide it. I’ve had the pleasure of being driven in one of these cars and I’ll never forget it they are absolutely savage on the road
You have to save the bike too! They came together they are one!!
I agree, although the bike can probably be rebuilt in an afternoon
I love seeing you return to your roots with stuff like this bro haha. "Its bad" lol
I have talked with the previous owner and would love to see this on the road again. He is a super nice and genuine guy. Sad deal for sure on the loss but exciting to see the possibility of a life after fire
Was this car in the Denver area?
@@jordanbaker6432 yes it was Purple and for a long time had some gray primer on the side from an accident.
Loved all the builds to date and this one looks like it could be the most challenging to date. But in your shop doable for sure. Looking forward to the series.
Love the reveal at the end, looking forward to the story of where that came from and how you got hold of it! Love Nobles, often see them at the car meetups around here as not a million miles away from where they were made.
I really can’t wait to see the fire Ferrari get finished.
Fire-arrari?
I would expect that by like, 2035 or so.
Manual Merc SL..
@@Skwisgar2322 same
Or the Lotus, which I heard he gave up on and sold.
WatchJRGo: I'm going to buy an unreliable boutique British supercar and fix it on the cheap.
Tavarish: Hold my beer
Correction: "I'm going to buy a _bit_ of a British supercar and make the rest on the cheap"
I have actually heard of Noble, seen quite a few too. In fact I've seen one blasting around a track day and pretty much beating all the cars there! This one looks terminal to me though, Tavarish you are a masochist!!
I'm so excited to see what you will do with this! I did have to do a rebuild on my engine and I have spare parts if you need anything. It is for sure a supercar like no other and you'll be blown away when you feel those G's in the corners!!!
the cool part about an old Noble is that the chassis literally can be rebuilt with stock steel and aluminum sheet and rod. body stuff would be a pain, but you could put the chassis together halfway easily.
Did I hear Noble cart 🤔🤔
The motors came from the old Ford contour SVT. Then Rousch racing does about 35-40k worth of internals, work, turbos.
The M12 has standard turbos. The M400 has oil cooled turbos.
They where brought into the US through 1G racing here in town by me. Then eventually split and moved to Florida (Ian and Ross the started Rossion) and Noble is currently owned by the Dyson vacuum guy now.
I have quite a bit of knowledge on these cars as we used to put in the drive lines for 1G back in thr day....
There was about 450 of theee cars built worldwide. Most went to the track as track / race cars. I'd say over half have been totalled..and are gone.
These cars are purpose built track cars.
Contact me with any questions. Will gladly help with info where I can
Looking forward to this big time. Clocked it was a Noble from the thumbnail. Yes Freddie, let’s do this!!
"Handmade in Britain" is actually really good for frame damage. Cuz you can literally DIY in your garage with a $500 welder and do a better job. So cut off the tube frame and reconstruct as necessary
"DIY in your garage with a £500 welder" is what "Handmade in Britain" means, anyway!
Gotta love an M12, fabulous handling cars,I adore mine, great community behind em on Facebook too 🙂
Oh boy freddie. In terms of bad idea projects, burn damaged british sports car is up there, and noble is second to probably only TVR for bad idea projects.
(I love Noble cars, but they're made in tiny numbers and spares aren't exactly common or cheap)
I just reminded myself that Moslers and Rossions are also Nobles or at least, Noble-compatible. I can just imagine the boys going to Rossion's shop and saying "we'd like a few of X and a couple Y and perhaps a Z3456 from your back stock".
Yall on some next level craziness to fix this and I'm all for it... love these cars. They punch way about their weight
Jack, probably: "Under reasonable circumstances this isn't rebuildable."
Tavarish, probably: (Buys a new body kit) "What about questionable circumstances?"
We should have all learned by now that Jack is the foil realist to play off the optimistic mad genius of Freddy Hernandez 😂😂😂
A Noble ! Every car-head knows this car. Clarkson hyped it 😂
Yeah it did pretty well in the power lap back in the day.
It was lost in a house for along with a nice Corvette in Colorado, crazy to see it now.
I can't wait for the next episodes of this project series. Also, I didn't expect to see a left-hand Noble supercar
I surely cannot wait to go with you on this rebuild journey and watch it from start to finish im excited!!!😁😁
Seen an M12 GTO in the flesh not too long ago, was in a supercar run I attended here in Northern Ireland. Super amazing cars considering they were pretty much built in a shed in England
Yes! I'm so going to follow this build! Love to see the resaults!
Yup, heard of them many times before, been on Top Gear. Ooh, your a brave man doing that :)
I saw this car in a Wheeler Dealers episode ,Ford Mondeo engine and a super lightweight chassis built in a British countryside shed.
Normal people: "It was in a fire, pass."
Tavarish: "So, the fire wasn't super super duper hot over here..."
Been watching YOU for years . One of my favorites out there. Always quality material.
Love it. The noble line of cars are basically built in a shed with lesser car parts and fibreglass. Nice one my guy looking forward to seeing this build!
Freddy thinks to himself: "If the body is pretty much gone....just add a full body kit to replace it!" Good call. I figured he was going to pull out a front end collision Noble....lol. 💥
This is the best day evening with my favorite RUclipsr's videos tavarish,M539 Restorations, Legit Street Cars
I've driven one of these a few times. Love the very aggressive clutch feel.
I think it's super funny that this is happening when my brother who also lives in Florida just bought a working and driving Noble M12 GTO 3R. Now there's at least two of them in the state!
"(That You've Never Heard Of)", Every British person took that personally haha
Oh, you bet we did!
Especially since we all watched Top Gear
I love the jokes that Freddy and Jack make. ♥
Keep the chuckles comin, fellas!
"Watch the paint!" :)
13:24 Freddy is so excited about this build that he is busting out of his suit :D
Noble! Called it when the cover was still on it!
Dude...This is going the same way as the Rotary F355 coupe/convertible that you haven't started yet
I did see the body shell in the background while you were doing tear down....gave it away. 🤣
As soon as k seen those headlights & wheels I knew what it was a Noble 400 i never seen this before !! I’m super exited to see this build !!!
Please don't give up on this one, this would be a super sick project. Also if you're attached to the car, I propose building back the body custom to your desires, I think it would be very unique to have an entirely differently built body to your liking!
and if you can't rebuild it, make it a tube car, pipe pony, sand rail car!
Theres nothing left...nope
Tavarish I'm glad you're doing a Noble project. These are very nice and simple sports cars when done.
Going to sit back and enjoy the ride on this one great content as always 👌
The "dude watch the paint" when he was pulling the bike out of the car was hilarious LMAO
I’m going to wish you all the luck in the world for this build. The Noble’s an epic car and you’ll be burning the midnight oil getting it fixed. If anyone can you and Jack can 👍
"it's a handmade british supercar" huh, explains the fire i guess 😂
@@zDemoGODznah, that's cause of all the ford parts in it
Well done Freddy
I had a good look on that shell you have there.
Looking good underneath the Porsche...
Knew this was possible once I saw that.
Love your videos
I remember seeing a Noble MC12 in the old paper Autotrader magazines at the grocery store. They stuck out like crazy in those. It would be a page full of Ford Explorers or something and then that thing lmao.
MC12?
@@Josh_Wright he probably means the m12
I loved the m12, but for a little more you could buy the gumpert apollo in that era. That was my favorite.
It was a good era for unique cars.
Hey Tavarish, you Have direct competition now with Britains very own Matt Armstrong, who Incidentally For Me, is most definitely my Favourite UK Car rebuilder RUclipsr. I know you are friends and have assisted each other with Ideas on different projects. I think this is awesome that, You Tube is lucky to have You Both. You are my favourite USA Car Rebuilder. I must say the Noble is an awesome car and a huge undertaking considering the fire damage. I am sure you will do an incredible job and even put your own twist on it like dropping a 1000 horsepower engine in it or something completely special and amazing. Your Mclaren was spectacular. Matt Armstrong is currently working on his dream green Lambo Mercialago, I am Interested to see how amazing that turns out too. so the competition is on. Its The Uk Versus The USA Lets see who makes the better rebuild. Let the Games commence. Its great that you guys document edit and present these shows, Its so Entertaining and I always am excited to see the next episode and project. Keep up the great work and Thanks for the show.😁😄👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is one of those outrageously underrated, somewhat unknown to those outside the purest world. That is a track and Mountain Road monster! This could be one of Tavares most outrageous bills👍
The poor Merc SL sitting there waiting for its manual conversion. How much was that again?
haha i love the grand reveal of the new shell at the end of the video, meanwhile ive been staring at it IN the shop this entire time XD. also, freddy, i found your door.
Great to see a Noble on here. This car was built just 2 miles from my house, and another awesome supercar factory that's local, well just 1 mile away from me, is Ultima Sports. :)
I'm eyeballing that turboed porsche you've had for 2 years on the lift waiting for the rebuild of that one.
Yeah that's a awesome project buddy looking forward to watch you rebuild it
One of your biggest fans keep up the good work
The bit at the end with the new fibre-glass parts... they've been in the back of pretty much every shot of this video... :D
Love the Noble M12- a true british supercar. Lee Noble invented the Ultima Sportscar (which is one of the quickest cars ever made depending on spec), a couple of leman racing cars, and a number of other legendary cars too!
the front clamshell is worth a ton of money!
That bike was probably genuinely nice lol. Whoever owned it had Noble money, it has Shimano parts, what looks like a Nitto quill stem (could be wrong), and the frame looks well built. Not sure if i'd trust the integrity after that fire though lol.
Eh, if it's stell framed, it'll probably be ok as long as it's true. Components and cables will all need to be new tho
Nobles are awesome. A performance shop I used to go to had one they were building for someone. That was my first introduction to them. At first glance I thought it was a Porsche until I got close 😂. Truly great cars.
Epic, I can't wait to watch this build
If everything went too wrong you could also just give it a body shell and have a hell of decoration
Who doesn't know Noble??
Right?
Exactly. Most people watching this channel knows noble
Probably Most Of Us Americans (Unless You Watched Top Gear or play Forza)
We need a game called Tavarish rebuild , a free roam game where you can do races , collect junk and rebuild them, missons etc 😍 , even introduce car trek in that lol
God bless Tavarish, man I would look to have the optimism and patience that this man has to see the finished product and not a burnt money pit.
keen to see how this went? Is there an update vid?
Since it's such a rare car I wonder how you'll get the parts for it.
I've seen one of these in person. There's a guy in my area that owns a farmer's market and I saw him at the air field with it on the way back from college. He gave me a proper talk over about it and let me sit in it. Freaking awesome day, I love these cars. Hope you can bring this one back to life!
Tav: Can you plastic weld this jack?
Jack: you can plastic weld anything
Tav: what about this?
Jack: no
Since it was this cheap, after finishing it would be excellent to match it against Goonzquad's Factory 5 GTM both handmade supercars, factory 5 in the US and the nobel from UK each in their own uniqueness , well done FREDDY can't wait for the series on this one , stay safe and God Bless!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed it sitting below the 911 on the lift.
Noble M400/Rossien Q1 if my eyes don't deceive me.. Neat find.. if a bit crispy..
Looks like a noble m12 gto to me.
I would love to see an update on the Porsche build!
Got to love the 3.0 Duratec that was used in the damn Taurus, Escape, and Mazda MPV Van.
You might be able to take the 3.5 duratec Ecoboost and toss it in.

Absolutely love these types of project!
Oh wow good luck = you guys are absolutely the team for this job
make an update on the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When is the next episode ??? 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm assuming that while you were in Leicester on your recent visit to Mat Armstrong's workshop, you also popped down the road to see Mr Lee Noble himself to get all the parts for this build! Being from Leicester myself, I'm really looking forward to this build! Absolutely love these cars!!!
I cant wait for the finished product😅
Lots of project cars bought but we rarely see any of them actually get worked on. When will we see the fire Ferrari or any other car actually get finished? I'm still holding out hope that we will see these projects become reality
