- Automatic Water Pump Control circuit help to control water tank overflow. This project is environmental related project. This project also work for save water and save electricity.
You can use up to 240v for relay switching. Its very important to remember, for circuit max input voltage is 12v.
Parts Details:
1) vero board
2) wire connector 2pin *2 and 3pin *1
3) 12 volt relay
4) BC 547 transistor
5) 10k resistor 3pcs
6) 1M resistor 2 pcs
7) 100k resistor 1pcs
8) 0.01 micro farad capacitor 1pcs

I want to add an observation to this effort. Usually the water is pumped from the downstairs water tank to the upstairs water tank. The gadget you have explained will work for the upstairs water tank. However, you need to make sure that there is sufficient water level in the downstairs water tank. If this is not ensured, the pump may run dry for a long time until the ground water tank is filled with water. This is a dangerous situation as the motor may burn out. Please consider adding another water level sensor for the ground water tank. The pump should run only if there is sufficient water level in the first floor tank.
Secondly, if the electricity is suddenly cut off when the pump is running, the pump switch should automatically turn off even though the water level sensors give the signal to start the pump switch. Otherwise, when the power resumes, the pump may suddenly turn on again.
Third, there should be an isolation switch for this automatic level control unit, which will be needed when there is a water leak in the water circuit and needs repair. This will lead to hunting the pump On/OFF condition until the repair is made and may not be easily noticed"".

Also, you are not soldering wires of different things with each other like transistor or relay to resistor etc. so all it required to be in the same points in Vero board as yours?
