Hi, Motor will be switched off once wires short circuit. But once water goes below the wire again motor starts. How does it practically possible. I don't want to switch on motor automatically until tank is empty. I just want a circuit to switch off motor once tank is full. Later once tank is empty I will manually switch on the motor. Any help??

I have a waterfall, solar. I use this with a smaller pump to refill waterfall tank. You can put a timer on relay to shut off the filling pump after so many seconds.
ashok mukka in the circuit diagram the upper red wire is 12v + wire and lower black wire is negetive input. See the diagram carefully ground sign is given in the emitter of the transistor. Thanks for watching

+B Kumar 1.It called relay 2. It only push the ( OFF ) SWITCH. so motor current is not passing through it. 3. No you have to power it from another dc power source. 4. ignore it because the coil is inside the relay. 5. To activate the relay you have to get a dc power source depends on relay's specification and it can handle 220v 10 amps. 6.you just have to on the pump, when the water tank full the pump will automatically be OFF. 9. It will cost around 20 Rs (inr). Thank you for watching

Motor will be switched off once wires short circuit. But once water goes below the wire again motor starts. How does it practically possible.
