I love all three paint schemes of Cole Trickel's (Tom Cruise) cars but my number one favorite is the Mello Yello paint scheme, I have the model kit of it but I haven't worked up the nerve to actually put it together, my history with model kits hasn't been the best unfortunately
The best advice I can give you is take your time and do a little bit everyday, even if it's just gluing the motor together etc and don't rush. Less is more and give yourself time.
@@dustinbuckley30 Yes I realize that. My question was about pushing the wheel onto the hubs once they have been assembled in the correct way. I know the tires and wheels go together a certain way already.

Hint: you need to scrape the chrome from mating surfaces, otherwise they will not bond together
I usually soak them in bleach to get the chrome off, but I will scrape next time.

Tamiya X-22 clear and grey surface primer

Very nice build! What is your secret for pushing on the Monogram NASCAR wheels? When I do this I feel like I am going to break something.
Thanks Charles, usually dab a bit of glue on the inside of the wheel and gently slide onto the hub.
Also I was running into this problem I looked and the tire is offset and they only go on one way

@@dustinbuckley30 That's what I did on my last Nascar build instead of trying to push them on. It is is a lot less stressful that way lol
