I was also 12 when the film came out and my mum bought me the full set of (Buick Le Sabre casting) boxed cars and Transporters from a guy who imported them from the USA to the U.K. and wrote about them in the MICA magazine that I received as a member. These models kickstarted my obsession with early 90’s NASCAR and into collecting the White Rose Collectibles licensed models from this era. I still have my DoT models and almost the full range of White Rose NASCAR cars, transporters and three piece sets from 1989-1993 and I display them proudly in my garage :-). The invention of Ebay made collecting a lot easier needless to say and I’d like to think I have one of the biggest collections of these models in the U.K. 😊
I was 10 that’s got me into NASCAR I got this track and a bunch of cars at Magic Mark. I unfolded and folded the set so much it ripped in half. Absolutely loved it and played with the grandstands for about two races I got rid of them. Hardee’s also had some promo cars that you could get for free with your happy meal they were made out of plastic and kind of flat and wide they were different so I like them to
Do you have a Twitter? Would love to send you a picture of a Paramount DoT set I have. You’d appreciate it. Nice collection, I don’t even remember that track.
I am happy you’re getting better with the camera and lighting work on your newer videos but its still enjoyable to watch
since the play mat was designed to fold, the creases got really worn and peeled. this was one of my favorite toys as a kid.

Love it! thanks for the memories!
Carey Elwes was not in Top Gun, that was Hot Shots, but I get it. Great video.
I had Hardee’s, mellow yellow and city Chevy cars
I remember picking up those haulers in the mid 90's for like 2.50. Nobody wanted the old diecast, it had to be present drivers with newest sponsors.
I love it.
Do you know anything about the Mello Yello car from the back of the boxes? The yellow-black based one. Is it available anywhere?
you know, I never noticed that. Quite possibly was the same deal as the hauler, was pictured in promo pics but never released to the public.
@@toywarp maybe Paramount shut this way, because that's not like the film version
You dont have the slot car set :(
I have a launch set that isn't on your list. I'd like to show it to u
