Thanks for this review and bringing back a fond memory. I remember two things from visiting family in Wisconsin, having a 101 degree F temperature and this board game. Cars, family, game, this was as good of a time as I could have while being too sick to do anything else.

I have a lot of track but non of the white “U” shaped clips to secure together. Loved my set. Have the same set as your showing.

I had one of these, I got it for Christmas in 1983. It was my most wanted gift. I was obsessed to say the least. My family was extremely poor. I never expected to actually get it. Which I did. Best Christmas ever! I made tracks in the dirt, played with it for hours. Kids these days, including mine, don’t know what it’s like to want something so unattainable, to dream for something. I wish we lived in simpler times like the 80’s.

I have three small signs that I think came from either a Hot Wheels, Tomica or Matchbox building set. Does anyone know where I can go to ID these signs? I'd love to get them into the hands of someone who needs them. As they were found in a Hot Wheels folding city from the 1980s (and no, these didn't go with it), I suspect these are 1980s too. HELP

I had the car crush set, and absolutely loved it. It got heavy use from my Bigfoot and Lanard King Kong trucks. It wasn’t long before I used my Animal monster truck on it and the claws shredded the thin plastic at its stress points. One thing I always remembered about the box it came in was it mentioned that it was for use with Bigfoot and Black Gold, but it also mentioned USA-1, which I always thought I’d misremembered until I remembered that for a time the USA-1 truck had the Playskool logo on its rear, just behind the wheel well. Then, once the internet got ubiquitous, I finally saw the USA-1 Playskool prototype toy that was never produced. Mind you I got my Car Crush set in Canada, so the box may be different than the US version.

I got the War Lord for Christmas when I was 9. I sold it last year along with the Orange Blossom Special. I always took great care of my toys but it was time to let someone else enjoy them.

I had a cybertron playset when i was a kid. Wish I still had it.

Someone should 3-D print this and many other cardboard play sets. That’s what I would do.

I’m 48 and my play sets were my imagination! I use to take hours setting up the bace in furniture, mounds of clothes, piles of bricks outside where my brother use to fix his cars, under the stairs and under the bed! Best times of my life, and I’ve done a lot of travelling I’m my 48 years.

I wanted this set, but mainly just the Ark display, (although I wouldn't mind replacing the regular release Bayverse Dinobots with more cartoon style colors instead, since those were about the only Bayverse crap I bought... 😅). I'd considered the idea of getting this thing and gluing the Ark parts to corrugated plastic sheets, for a more sturdy set to display, but ideally I'd much rather have a 3D printed version.

I never had the SST Muscle Machine trucks, I wanted Bigfoot, Black Gold and the Warlord funny car they are the last toys under Playskool.

I had everything from the SST toy company. Big Foot, Black Gold & OBS, the lift, pull sled, trailer & the plastic car crush cars. Oh yeah War Lord the funny car. I saw Allen pull OBS 2 times in my life time at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago Ill.
