I always manage to hit the zipper and break a needle! Most projects, this one looks ok. Great tip to remove the stabiliser on back of work. What machine and foot are you using??
Glad it was helpful! We are using a Janome 500e in this video. We are using the Convertible Free Motion quilting foot on this machine ( Part No. 202146001). It is a Janome foot, not designed for this particular machine but comes with their other models. Just check to see the foot doesn't come too close to the edge of the frame on some bigger projects. The adjustable nature of this foot accommodates thicker fabrics/layers.
There are couple of steps missing in your video. You are asking to pull down the front lining to early before the words bobbins or whatever are stitched. The word is stitched first and then the lining is pulled down where another step is included to stitch that down.
