It’s great when you make these separate little nuggets of video tutorials for when you need to have another quick look at how she did that 🤔 but can’t recall which bag video you saw it in. Thanks again Lauren. 😊

I absolutely love this method. I’ve been doing it for about a year now. I love the look it gives the inside of bags & love how it’s just so simple.
EDIT- After you put the zipper on one side of the pocket, if you lay the panel flat down & crease the zipper so it’s it’s slightly folded over the top, like how it will lay inside the bag, the stitch along the the line (or right next to it), it helps the zipper lay flat when your adding it to the back of the zipper facing. And you can’t see the stitch lines since it’s hidden.
Also if you leave the bottom open (have 2 pieces instead of just one), you can lay your zipper pocket open, make sure everything is flat & smooth, then you can stitch all the way around the zipper facing to enclose it & not have to stitch one line at the bottom, flip it down, start stitching from where you left off at, up the side, around the top & back around to where you started. It’s just one stitch line all around.
