Martyn Smith from Sweet Pea, demonstrates how to make the blocks for 'The Quintessential Wallet'
Totally enjoy Sweetpea Machine Tutorials. Thank you for sharing
Thank you
Love, love this!
Wow so cool
What did they use for the batting piece that gives it some shape?
I love this pattern. the ONLY thing I would request is a list at the top with ALL the cuttings. like, first start with like, fab A you will need 1 yard, sub cut 2 8x10 fab B ....... I get too scatter brainded and it really helps when you are in the shop buying fabric to just pull up the pattern and see what you will need.
We have the cut list for all the different sizes and blocks within the first few pages of the instructions. Every person is going to do this project in a different way. We only use fat 1/4's here at Sweet Pea, so often it's a mix of 3 of 4 fat 1/4 co-ordinates. Hope this helps. We love this design too. :)
I absolutely adore this pattern and the fabric you used in this tutorial..can you tell me which designer these fabrics are from?
They were Tula Pink fabrics from Free Spirit.
What Model of Brother Machine are you using? Thanks for the tutorial 😊
We use Brother VE2200 & 2300 embroidery only machines and also Brother VQ2400 & VQ3000 for sewing.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I would love to know what embroidery machine you are using. It seems so smooth
We use a brother machine, they are wonderful. Thankyou for your kind comment
I wish you would have shown how you attached the flap. I need it all to see.
