I never thought I’d bother to learn about these things I just came to learn about chemicals but I’m happy I did and to be honest telescience sounded worse but I think artifact activation stuff was more complex but that’s because there was way more to take in. I had to pause so much for notes for that part but almost equally so for the maths of telescience. This video took me way more than 42 minutes to finish but I’m happy to be more knowledgeable. Probably gonna practice telescience in extended so I can go slow and not die mid math problem.

Make sure to eject the noise makers out the mass driver. Just kidding, drag them to medbay and hide them behind a potted plant.
Pro tip : if you are slow at math like me, make a Excel file, it's a life and time saver, I did mine and I can do the math at Least 20 times faster! (its easy to make one, just watch tutorials)

Not sure if it's good or bad that they streamlined the artifact lab's computers now. Definitely feel less competent with computers, yet it's very convenient.
How ironic, they use Unix commands and what not on the science computers but SS13 is (basically) unplayable on gnu/linux systems. I had to grab an extra hard drive and put windows on it to play.

idk if my math is wrong, but wouldn't it be, 178-88=90/4=22.5 (x coords increments of 4) and y goes up by 100+100=119-13=106(y coords increments of 1). never played the game and i'm not all that great with math, but that's how I would have thought of the answers.
178 was the original value of x for 50. the value you are trying to get to is 88 so subtract the original and the ideal value, which gives you 90, then you divide it by 4 (since it changes by increments of 4) which will give you the value 22.5
19 was the original value of y for 100. the value you are trying to get to is 106, adding another 100 onto the original 100 would jump the value up to 119, then subtracting 13 would give you 106 so you would land pin point onto the desired location.

find the goonstation server, very politely ask for a second chance, be surprised if you get one, read the rules and understand them. Goon takes bigotry and homophobia seriously, even ironic use is forbidden.

Get a cheap VPN like PrivateVPN, make a new account using a proxy email like guerillamail or 10minutemail while not connected to the vpn, then connect to the vpn and join.
