  • A little ditty thrown together on how to harvest extremities for fun and profit. (Probably gonna invest in a better sound setup for the next one. My god.)
This series is meant to cover the more specific bits and pieces of each job, but if you're a complete newbie to Goon or just SS13 in general, I'd highly recommend dropping by Spicy's basic tutorial, which covers the basics quite admirably: • Space Station 13 Tutor...

I spent the whole round once learning surgery by performing it on monkeys. Until one of them got fed up grabbed a circle saw off a table and murdered me with it next to it’s limbless brother

Just a note: Oculine is also for hearing damage!
Edit: Also, you can use the red swingline staplers for surgery!

Help intent for stapling limbs no matter the stapler, yeah. The red staplers are just reskinned staple guns (heh).

Hey man, the tutorials are really helpful. Just a sugestion: i know it takes more work to do it, but a tutorial with actual gameplay would illustrate better what you're saying. As a new player its hard to keep track of everything without actually seeing examples. I must say that this game is really hard to learn

I just had my first two rounds tonight, and... after telling people "Hey, this is my first outing, WTF am I supposed to do?"... I'm a say... This tutorial is... Okay, yes, I like that I know WHAT to do with people... but... I want to see... How? "Apply epinephrine to the patient." I'm Still trying to figure out how to eat popcorn... This tutorial's Definitely for a mid grade audience.

For those who are just entering in this game:
-ALWAYS play your first rounds as a staff assistant, it gives you less responsabilities and time to explore the station and learn the controls (also people normally treat staff assistants like noobs and don't mind much of them)
-If you feel bored just go and help people or ask what they are doing, pay attention to the radio and announcements in the chat or just walk around, you probably find something interesting
-Don't fear asking for help with mentorhelp (f3), is basically the way you can learn something in without having open the wiki all the time (which is an option but, why pass 5 min searching for something you can just ask?)
-Respect security personel, they are pretty much like in-game moderators and they don't mind put you in jail the rest of the round if you try to grief the station or you just kill someone (but you can always hide the body...)
-keep things natural and in character, don't harass someone without a reason, play your role the best you can and try to keep yourself on character as most as you can, saying just something out of character once is not bad but try to not do it constantly
-Don't ruin others fun, everyone here is just to play a role and having fun doing it, unless you are an antag. don't go nuts on everyone for fun because you are ruining others people fun
Personal recomendation but put your controls in WASD mode (tabs who appear up the window Game>WASD mode)
