    * Ingredients (serves 1-2)*
    1 large aubergine (about 300 - 350g)
    1-2 spring onions
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    Some toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
    - for the koumi sauce-
    1 clove garlic
    A little piece of ginger (about 1 teaspoon)
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 tablespoon rice vinegar
    1 tablespoon sesame oil
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1/2 teaspoon toban-djan
